Disney Dining Plan

I had heard a while back or possibly read it on the boards that Disneyland was going to start the Disney Dining Plan like WDW. Does anyone know if this has been implemented yet or if they have nixed the plan?

I think they had mailed out this offer to certain people for the fall/winter season. I have not heard yet from anyone who actually did it yet.......

They sent an offer to some of the people who had a vacation already booked but we haven't heard how it worked for them yet or if they are going to get it going. I hope they do, that would be GREAT!!! I don't like the vouchers, they are a waste of $$ IMO.

Yah, the vouchers kind of stink - but they were useful too. We had leftovers from May and just used them up this trip. So really, they covered two trips for most of our meals and we learned after the first trip that we did not need to order meals each as there was just WAY too much food that way (wasted so much!)

Hmmm... I'd be interested in hearing something like WDW's dining plan.

Wish they would get it going in DL It worked out so perfectly for us at WDW with our two grandchildren and after sort of figuring up what we would have spent without it and what we spent for it, it was well worth the money and we would have definitely spent a lot more without the plan.

can you asked about this or did you have to have the actuall offer? i have a trip booked in December and would love to do a dining plan!!

My understanding is that it was offered to certain people who had already booked. It's not something that can be booked at this time.
