Disney Dining Plan Question

Right two questions re this as it will be our first time onsight and first time using dinning.

We are staying 27th August - 10th September next year (14 nights) 15 days. Does this mean that we will get 15 disney dining days ie do you get allocated dining for the day you check out as well or does it end the day before?

Secondly with the counter service credits does the meal combo just include drink and meal or does it have the dessert as well?

You get credits for each night of your stay.

CS meals are one main course, one dessert and one drink, apart from breakfast which is one main course and 2 drinks eg juice and coffee.

See the Dining Plan brochure sticky which explains it all. We're thinking of staying at AKL next Oct for a week with the DDP, then a week off-site.
