Hey Y'all...

Need some advice, booked up for three weeks in the world next September, I have the DDP also!! :cool1:

However...worried about ADR's, service, menus etc, from reading some reviews! We don't really wanna make a load of ADR's as would prefer to just book somewhere on the day when there via reception etc. Will this work, is it a bad idea.

Do you need to dine between certain time etc?? Any help would be great!!! :thumbsup2

Yeah, I'd like to know about that. I mean, we're all adults, and not fussed about seeing the parades and stuff, so would be available to eat then and at 'off-peak' times over the lunch/dinner period. If we're eating at those sorts of times during the day in late aug/ early sept, is it really still worth making ADRs? There's a couple I definitely will book in advance - like Character breakfasts, and most importantly Crystal Palace! Finally I'm gonna meet Piglet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cheer2:  :cheer2:  But we're prefer to have our day more flexible, without having to be at certain resturants at certain times. All advice welcomed!

If you are not bothered where you eat then that it fine but if you want specific places I would recommend ADRs as you might be disappointed. This is also a time that has been offered as free DDP to the UK so I expect it might be busy too - I am going late Aug early Sept and am making ADRs :thumbsup2

We are also going next september and I have been wondering the same things...
Does anyone know if you have to use the credits intended for table service for counter service instead? We don't want to have to make loads of ADR's as we like to take each day as it comes and not plan too much - this will be our second visit to WDW so we know what to expect and what we want to do.
I would also appriciate any info on the dining plan, too! :tink:

I think you could go 'on the fly' for some restaurants but you may be restricted as to times and if you're a larger group (say more than 4) it may be risky. I'd definitely ADR any popular restaurants like CRT and Le Cellier if you have your heart set on them.
Personally i'll be making ADRs for all my TS credits. Maybe we'll miss one or two and have a CS instead, we'll just see how we feel at the time. I'll just feel better knowing I have the restaurants I want to eat at booked so that the option is there. They're cancellable too so there is still a degree of flexibility :thumbsup2

The only thing i would say is that i had friends there during free dining this year who hadnt made any ADR's and said that walk ups at restaurants were being refused.

I would atleast make a couple!

for me part of the planning fun is in deciding where and when to eat :) i made 14 adr's last time we went and i only cancelled 1 :teeth:

To make it clear if there are specific places you want to eat book those in advance - but this is TS only as CS just turn up where you want to get those :thumbsup2
