Disney Dining Plan for Signature Restaurants

I am heading to Disney soon and have the Disney Dining Plan that allows one meal,one quick service and one snack. I see that signature restaurants use 2 credits off the dining plan. My question is when eating at a signature restaurant (Citricos) and using the a dining plan, does it allow you to order any entree on the menu or are you restricted to only certain items on the menu unless you wish to pay seperate for them. I know my plan does not cover appetizers and alcoholic beverages. These I know need to be purchased seperate from the dining plan.
