Disney Dining - places not to miss!

Our two that we love:
AKL: Boma dinner
AK: Tusker House breakfast (our favorite)
We enjoy BOG as well!

Have fun planning!

We are staying at all star movies, and have reserved trattoria at the beach club. Only using busses as transportation, how would we get there?

Trattoria is on the Boardwalk. We only use busses and we went to one of the parks or Disney Springs and then took a bus to the Boardwalk. you can also go to HS and then take a boat or walk over to the Boardwalk. We would take the boat just so we could get off of our feet for a little bit.

If you HAVE to use the busses, your best bet is a bus from sports to HS, then walk or boat to the BW. However if your reservation is for breakfast and it's early you may want to consider taking a taxi or Uber
Thank you so much!

We really enjoy Tusker House for a character breakfast, Yak & Yeti, whispering Canyon, Raglan Road for dinner. If you get free regular dining then it would be great to upgrade to deluxe if you can swing the cost. Then I would add California Grill brunch and dinner, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Tiffins, Narcoosees... You need to check out the menus on allears

Before finding this site, I planned our entire first trip using Allears.net We ate at 50's Primetime, Crystal Palace, the habichi grill in Japan which has since changed its name, CRT, Grand Floridian Café, Liberty Tree Tavern and Chef Mickey's.

I would now add to go to Tusker House, BOG for lunch, Biergarten, Ragland Road and Sanaa. Kona Café breakfast is awesome too.

Other QS I would suggest are:

MK - Columbia Harbor House, Pecos Bills
EP - Tangierine Café, Pattisserie in France, Sunshine seasons
AK - Flame Tree BBQ
HS - not a fan of them - I took a boat over to the Boardwalk for lunch last time I went
DS - Earl of Sandwich has my favorite tuna melt and Wolfgang Puck Express

A real fun thing to do in Epcot is to use credits to get a different item from different countries and all share. Here is what we had one day

Fried Plantains using a snack credit at Africa Refreshment Port (I think this may not be there any more but in January 2010 it was just at the start of World Showcase going to the right)
Fish and Chips (I think we got a drink and all shared though we also had water bottles) in the UK at the fish shoppe ( there are some tables and chairs just pass where you can sit and watch people over the edge of a bridge along the walkway and enjoy the ducks. Make sure you get a packet or two of the malt vinegar to dip your food in just to try it.
a couple of crepes we got a chocolate and a strawberry
Swarma Platter with a lemonaid in Morocco.

We found this is a neat and fun way to try foods from different countries. Our kids when we did this were 2 and 5 so we did have a couple of sippy cups tossed in our bags to split a little drink off for them. Places like Dollar tree have ones that can be used without the lids for not too much-very close in design to the tubberware ones of the 70s and 80s but not quite as thick on the plastic and I have found they don't take up too much room in a bag, no worries about them getting crushed or broken plus they come in handy for those drinking fountains where the pressure is so low you go do I really want a drink or not when the alternative is putting your mouth really close to where someone else may have put their mouth on. Place cup on fountain and fill then drink from the opposite side.
