I find it unnecessarily inconvenient that they stopped giving the second card for free. It's almost like they don't want us dining in the parks???
I think it had more to do with abuse.
What was to stop people from ordering a second card for someone not in their household & that was neither a FL resident or AP holder & sharing the cost with them? Thereby, theoretically at least, enabling 2 parties of 10 use the discount that was paid for by 1 membership.
Like so many things, when too many people try to "work" the system it eventually ruins things for those who play by the rules.
We rarely ever split up at meal time so it really wasn't an issue for us but I do see how it could be for some.
