Does anyone have any experience using this card? We will be visiting WDW with a group of 7 adults 2 infants for a week in Nov.
Grandparents are Fla residents so they will be able to purchase the card. They will be with us for all of the resort meals but probably not the theme park meals. Will we still be able to use the card if they are not present? Also, it is a discount of 20% for up to 6 people, will they let us get the discount for 6 and pay full price for the 7th persons meal? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Amyprincess:

The card holder will have to be there, with their ID each time the card is used. They will give the discount to 6 people and then charge regular price for the remaining meals (we have had times where they just give it to everyone even when there is more than 6--it was a bonus, we expected to pay for the additional people).

Have a great trip!

The last time I was there, they didn't check for ID, but I wouldn't take the chance. I wouldn't try to use it unless the Florida resident is there.

And thanks for posting this - it reminded me that I need to order mine!

I've been a DDE member for several years and I love it, what a great savings. We usually save more $ each trip than the cost of the card. Make sure to order the card early, it usually takes 2-3 weeks to receive it, if I remember correctly. Another great benefit with this card is free valet parking at the resorts, saves $6 per day, just flash the card and you're set. BTW, I always pay with cash for my meal, I've used my card HUNDREDS of times, I've never been asked for ID. Good luck!

How do you get this? My dad is a FL resident and might consider it for his trip this year (he is only there for 3 days)

I called WDW Dining to order mine. But if your dad is only going to be there for three days, it might not be worth the money.

The search is disabled - how much is it for the card?

The only price I remember is $75. It's cheaper if you're an annual pass holder, something like $70 or $65.
