We recently returned from a stay at OKW. We paid $60 for the DDE card thanks to the AP discount.

We saved a total of $134.06 using the card, so it more than paid for itself.

We went last March and it paid for itself on day 3, we had one table service restaurant a day. We went back in DEC with my parents and used it, saving alot of money with the 5 of us, now we are going back in March again, they didn't give the expiration til April or this year so we will have it for 3 trips there and so yes it is worth it if you eat at places listed that take it, which we do all the time!

I spent $700, in ten days, and I hardly drank anything, (four drinks, that's it,) so if I had DDE, I would of saved. . . $140, by myself, (I was solo.) Didn't have an AP, so didn't get it. But this year, I'm going in Dec, and then Oct 07, so will be getting an AP, and then the DDE.

Can anyone confirm? How about in AK?

We are definately getting APs this year (at least 2 trips w/in 12 months...hopefully 3 trips), so I intend to get DDE, too. For our family it will pay for itself, easily, early in the first trip.

However, I guess I would consider the availability of the 20% discount at a resort when deciding where to stay.

I am interested too on which food courts and /or counter service places people have been able to use it at.

It is still good at some of the food courts. The list can be found on the Disney web-site. But a basic rule is if they don't have TS then you can use at CS. You can use it anywhere in AK since they are now TS. You can also use it at Pop, and All Stars. And to answer the OP yes it's worth it for us. We saved just over $50 at our first meal at Citricos for four adults. Since then we have saved over $800.

Yes. I believe you can cover a party of 10 on 1 DDE card.
