Disney Dining Experience at Pepper Market or Olde Port Royale

We are going to purchase the DDE!! Hip hip horray! We know it will save us money. We are still deciding on which moderate to stay at. Am I correct that the DDE will work at Sassagoula Floatworks (food court) at POR but not at the food court restaurants (Pepper Market and Olde Port Royale) at the other 2 moderates? I find this sort of odd.....anyone else? I should not complain as the DDE will save us money anyway but I am thinking of all those fast but not cheap breakfasts and late night snacks we ate at POR last year.....20% off would add us to another nice dinner in the park. Do I have the correct information about the other 2 food courts.

We ate at the Pepper Market last night. They did not accept the DDE card. The cashier even walkie-talkied someone to ask since he was unfamilar with it.
I am "assuming" they do not accept DDE because:
1) Maya Grill is right next to PM
2) PM is not Disney owned

If your meal at PM would be like ours last night, you wouldn't be missing anything anyway.

I know the DDE discount is good at POR and FQ food courts. At least I was able to use it last Fall at FQ.
