Disney Dining Experience/Annual Passholder Question

My AP expires next month. I would like to purchase the Disney Dining Experience card again this year (now titled Tables in Wonderland.) If I was to purchase that card now, it wouldn't expire until April of 2010. What happens if I don't renew my AP? Would I still be able to use the DDE?

I've never had to show my annual pass when I used my card so I would imagine it would still be valid.

Me either. just the DDE card.

To the OP... Did you call and verify it expired in Apr. 2010 or are you assuming it does? I was thinking it expires one month after your AP does, but I may be mistaken.

Ditto. We bought our TiW card 11/30, and it states it is valid through the end of this year, where our APs expire 12/1.

I don't think the TiW card is technically "tied" to the AP - FL residents can buy them too. The only connection seems to be that AP holders can buy them, and at a discount.

Maybe it expires 13 months from then you activate it... since most of the AP users activate when they activate their AP, that might be why.

I am sure that I read somewhere that annual pass has to be current in order to use dining card. Hopefully, I am wrong!!
