I just wanted to post this in case anyone is wondering how long it takes to get the card in the mail. I called DDE on June 3 to order it. I got the letter the following week (in a hand addressed envelope) and received the cards Monday, June 27. I was nervous about getting it and turns out I had it in 3 weeks. Must be getting more organized.

Hi! I ordered my DDE with the numbers from my voucher. ALthough I have not yet received the cards, I am happy to hear that NanaLisa got hers in just three weeks. My letter states that it is valid until July 31st of 2006. I think they make it valid from one year of the month you'll be visiting next. We're leaving in 1 week. ( Boy! that sounds great! ) With the PS we have scheduled it will saving us over and above the cost in just a few meals, since we are a party of five! Happy trips!

I ordered mine april 13th, received letter in about a week. CC charged April 23rd. FINALLY GOT CARD around June 27th. Although I swear they gave me an extra month from what letter says but after waiting this long I feel it's deserved.

I called and ordered mine yesterday for our October trip, giving me plenty of time because I have heard it has been taking so long.

The nice CM actually discouraged me from ordering so early because she said it will only take 3-5 weeks to receive the card.

I ordered anyway because we are going to use it in Oct this year, Nov/Dec this year but we won't be going back until after Thanksgiving in 06 so it would have expired before then even if I ordered closer to my Oct trip.

And my credit card has a pending charge of 50 this morning from them.

I called to find out more info and they said if I buy an anual pass this trip I can call from guest relations and they will fax a temporary card we can use for this trip!!!!

I ordered my card last week! I got the letter in a few days but the person I spoke to told me it would take 4-6 weeks to recieve the card. she did try to tell me to wait until my trip was closer, but it would have expired after two trips anyway. The only thing I don't understand is why do they make the card active from the day you order? why not do it like an ap and let you pick it up.
