At last, our long anticipated trip to Fulton's Crab House. It was our 1st visit here and we were prompty seated for our 6:00 PS.
Not yet busy for a Saturday evening. (Keep in mind that we were on the Silver Plan, so we really did it up).

The family cast as follows: (Me - Trip planner. NO CHEESE PLEASE)
DW - Easy going and also easy to please.
DS (19) - Will try anything; prefers seafood. Won't gain an ounce.
DD's (13) - A - Family soup expert. Will take a try at anything. Her twin sister T is our resident carnivore. Meat, heat & eat. PICKY

Gregory was our server and he was (without a doubt) the most knowledgable server we had ever encountered at WDW or elsewhere. He took the time to find out our preferences, gave honest opinions and explained every one of our selections. Kudos to Gregory; ask for him on your next visit.

The kids had raspberry lemonades, DW had a glass of Louis Martini Merlot and I decided on a "spiked" lemonade. It took just a few minutes while we sampled that heavenly crab dip w/flatbread before our appy's arrived. The fried calamari was the best we've ever had (tender, marinated and flavorful strips). 2 shrimp cocktails and 2 cups of the crab and lobster bisque were enjoyed by all. The soup queen was on Cloud 9 with her bisque.

DS had the ahi tuna filet (done medium w/no problem from the kitchen and on Gregory's reco). He proclaimed it A-1. DW had the twin Australian tails (large portion). The carnivore had her standard filet mignon; twin (A) the King Crab Legs and I had the King Claws. Perfectly done and enhanced with a little squirt of lemon and a quick butter dip.

Desserts were ice cream, sorbet, Key Lime pie and a double espresso for me. The total was over $370.00 for the five of us and well worth the 2 wishes from the Silver Plan. Needless to say, we are ready to return. Fulton's moves to the top of our list.

Sorry so long, but that meal really rocked.

I glad you had great meal. sometimes I feel like I am the only who like fultons.

We ate at Fulton's on 7/2 (also Silver Plan) and Gregory was also our server. He was absolutely great and very informative. I agree that it was worth every bit of our 2 wishes.

Thanks for sharing ~ Wonderful reviews!!!!

Once again--pointing out this new trend in rave reviews for Fulton's. This used to not be the case but our meal in May was fabulous and DH business lunch there last month was a smashing hit. We used to only have negative things to say about Fulton's but I'm so glad we gave it another try. It will now be a must do for us!

I know there is the filet for us meat eaters but is the rest of the menu, ie appetizers completely for the seafood lovers? I normally would not eat at a restaurant that is filled with seafood since we really only like steak but we will be at DTD before Cirque for dinner. We are on the gold plan and had hoped to eat upstairs at Wolfgang Puck but that is not included so we are now looking at other places in DTD. Basically it will be Fultons or House of Blues but I don't want either to be a waste since we are on gold.

Thanks.

Thanks.
http://wdwig.com/menu/menu_fch.htm - check out the menu.

Also, if you will be going to Cirque, allow at least 2 1/2 hours for dinner at Fultons. We had 6:00 PS and I wanted to go to MK for 9:00 FIS and couldn't make it in time.

Our absolute favorite place to eat! We go there every trip. 99 days now and counting until blue crab fingers!!!

Thanks for the awesome review! I am hoping to try Fulton's in December with my son (11- and a seafood lover). Now I just can't wait!

Glad you enjoyed your meal.
Wish Gregory had been around the 4 times we had dinner there--

I have eaten there only once and really enjoyed it. It was a business trip and it was on the "expense account" plan:cool: Of course, I'm from Kansas, so what do I know from seafood?;)

I totally agree with you that Fulton's fried calamari is THE BEST!
Never knew it could be that tender.

we used to be big fans of fultons...but we have become less so. We had gone 2x at night for dinner & had great albeit expensive meals. the last 2x we have gone were at lunch. The service was good, but the food was only average, & the prices were outrageous. anyone else notice this about lunch?
