Sorry, two more questions! How can I go about finding out more about the disney diner plan and dining with the characters?

Are you asking specifically about the Free dining plan or one of the dining plans to be added to your ticket that you are paying for? If you go to the www.wdwresorts.com and choose the dining option it shows the restaurants but along the bottom of the vacation planning it describes what you get with each plan. This is the first year we are doing the deluxe dining plan and I am very excited - everything is paid for before I arrive, well, except for souvenirs. You can also check them out in most of the guide books available, e.g. Passporter.

A great place to start is with our Disney Restaurants Board, and they have a specific subform for the Dining Plan with a great FAQ thread that really explains things quite well, and has links to the Disney brochures. http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=14
