I'd love to see it, too! How did you do the cover and the spine? Did you use their templates? I'm trying to figure that part out for my book. Mine is already over 40 pages,

I did my Disney book with the max(100 pages :goodvibes ) thru shutterfly. I did them all in PSE and then selected a single photo templete for every page, then i dropped in my PSE saved as Jpeg and that was it.

You book looks great! Is it 12 x 12? I'm haven't printed any digital 12 x 12 pages but I have so many pictures from our cruise that I'm thinking about doing the book from Shutterfly.

Thanks! I created them at 12x12 but resized to 8x8 for the book. I find they fit on shelves better! When I resize I actually resize to 7.75 and that works well for me, and then move stuff over a bit that would go into the bind.

Fran -- Your book looks awesome! It is so cool to see all the pages next to one another like that. It looks like you got it as an 8x8 right? Did it arrive in the mail yet? How does it look? TFS!

Fran: Why the resize to 7.75? I'm getting ready to start on my pages and I was wondering about avoiding the dreaded cutoff. Just scooting everything over doesn't work?? I'm afraid my two page LOs aren't going to look right. Any advice would be appreciated! :goodvibes

I posted my Shutterfly book, too, just in case it helps anyone else decide what to do. I think you all have seen most of it anyway though!

I'm pretty sure she does it so she can get a 'full bleed' without things being cut off. I do the same when I'm printing pics at home. I've done a bunch of 6x6 LO's for my DD's book but they are set to 5.70x5.70. I made a preset for my printer and have one for my Xmas card LO's that fit in the little windows. If you go a smidge smaller, you get more of a realistic copy of what you did. Printers of every kind are going to take anywhere from 1/4 inch 3/4 inch off your original.

Really, really nice. I love how you incorporated the full page photos too. Thanks for sharing.

That is a great tip and one I would have never thought of.:thumbsup2 Thanks.

OK, I know a lot of you use scrap matters and brit sells through there, so I am going to ask this question. What is up with the shopping cart? Everytime I go there I get frustrated because it will clear itself out. I put 23 things in my shopping cart this am. Had to go upstairs to talk to my husband and get my wallet. Came back down, went to check out and apparently my session cookie had expired or IP rotated (which is set up to do through our router) because my cart was empty! Has anyone else run into this? Should I just make a list of the links on a notepad and add them only when I have everything ready to go through with payment? I really want Brit's new set with the quickpages and some of the other sets, but can't get them :sad2:

If you login and then put items in your cart, even if your session times out while you are away, the items will be in your cart the next time you login. If you are not logged in, the items will not stay in your cart when you timeout. I had the same problem on another website and kept having to go back and add stuff until I figured out what was happening.

Yep, I was going to say the same thing. As long as you log in before you start putting things in your cart they'll stay there until you remove them or purchase them.

Apparently I was logged in and I got logged out (when my cart was emptied). I logged back in and all my items are there! Thank you all so much!!:goodvibes Just saved me a good 30 minutes.

Fran and Stenogoddess -- Thanks so much for sharing your story books.... they look fantastic. Even though we've seen most of the pages on the DIS as you've completed them, it's a totally different feel seeing them in a finished book like that.... how exciting!

Fran, Stenogoddess, and TeresaNJ -- your photobooks are awesome! You all did a wonderful job. Thanks for sharing them!

Wenrob: How did I not know that?? :rotfl: Thanks!

Teresa: Great LOs. Thanks for sharing them. I love the Beach Club 95 LO. Very simple, but very pretty. Might have to lift that idea. ;)
