Disney Diamond club?

I don't believe they do...never heard of one at least. If it were for park visits, I would be at the Walt level for sure. We are there every other week...lol. Here's hoping some marketing guru CM is watching and thinks it is a good idea ;)

Hey, great pics, know where you're coming from. In the old days we used to spend alot of time in the "Monorail Club", small bar and a few tables but a great view of Bay Lake. It was at the right at the top of the escalators when a gift shop is. Plus where Chef Mickeys is was Coconino Cove, bands and music place and behind that was the Pueblo Room, great sit down American food restaurant, all gone and replaced by such we care not for.

We've logged 41 trips to WDW, all of the 10-12 night variety and only wished they did frequent miles, flyers or anything to keep us coming back. Pin codes are few and far in between but we keep going back.

How on Earth does one get pin codes? I have heard lots about them...I am an APholder, DVC member, Disney Visa cardholder, yada yada yada. What are they, how do I get one?

In all our years the pin code seems to pop up with no know frequency. We've gotten 2 via a post card in the mail and a couple from a WDW e-mail. The belief, no reason or proof, is that they are sent to infrequent visitors to promote or goad them into another trip. Frequent visitors hardly get them since they go every year anyway. That seems to be the consensus on pin codes. We make all our reservations with CRO and have asked if we have any codes attached to our name and on occasion been told yes, and they give the promotions. We've made 42 trips since 1977 so we're frequent visitors, we usually hold AP's but the pin codes are few and far between. Maybe others can enlighten me and you and others on this mystery but that's my take on them.

I have only gotten one pin code in all my many years of disney travels. It is frustrating. I think that the disney "frequent fliers" like everyone on this thread should be rewarded for their loyalty. I think that it would be good marketing. It seems weird to me to reward some people and not others with signfigant discounts. I don't like the fact that I am paying rack rate and someone else is there on a 40% code. Makes me crazy. Especially when you book well in advance. I don't get it. Of course it does not stop me from going, but it does stop me from going as often as I used to. :confused3
