Disney Destinations email

For those (like me!) looking despartely for a pin, watch your email! I had gone to disneyparks.com and saved vacations, and a couple of days later I got an email from Disney Destinations. It looked like it was just highlighting one of the packages I had saved. I skimmed it & ignored it. Thank goodness I didn't delete it!!

A post on here tonight alerted me to a possibility that the email had a pin code because the subject line was the same. Sure enough, down in the tiny print at the bottom - there was my code!! Yeah!

I called & booked 12 nights in August with no problem. Just letting anyone who (like me!) doesn't always read the fine print - if it comes from Disney you might want to read every word!

I got 35% off Pop - a new resort for us.

I wish one of my multiple emails from Disney Destinations contained a pin. I've been quite frustrated with their emails lately! Especially the ones in which the subject says "Thanks from your pals at Diseny!" -- open it up, its a free letterhead?! WTH!

How many days after you saved your trips did you get the email? I have trips saved on 3 different accounts (mine, DH's and a new one). I think I saved them Thursday and Friday.

I need a 40% off deluxe or DH is going to veto a trip for September

Your post had me running to my email folders to double check the emails from Disney Destinations, I rec'd two such as you discribed showing vacations I had saved on for the Contempory and one for WL but no pin number in small print for me just a link to their current public offer

I have saved the max amount of vacas you can (I think its five), ordered maps, signed up for every possible disney website known to man, requested DVC info, requested trip planning DVD. This was all a couple weeks ago, and I have not recieved a PIN, it truly is random! I swore I wasnt going to book until I got a PIN...Im booked for late sept into oct.

I was one of the lucky ones that got lots of codes. Now I NEED a 40% off deluxe code or we won't go and of course I don't get one! Boooooooo. If I do get one we'll be there the same time as you! I'm thinking September 24-October 2.

OMG I just checked my "Explore you Resort" email that I brushed aside and it has a pincode in tiny, tiny print on the bottom right side!!


Now if only a trip were in the budget this year. My plan is for May or Sept. 2012, so I can guarantee you I will get no pins next year

Same thing happened to me. Thank goodness I checked it several times before deleting it because I saw the pin way at the bottom on the right hand side in tiny print. I got 35% off Pop too! Yay!

I don't know how long it took, because it was a couple of weeks ago. But I'd guess within a week. I had saved 5 different packages with different resorts. I didn't request a DVD or do anything else other than browse the site.

This is the email - "Explore Your Resort" was in the subject line. And the pincode was TINY!

(Shh...still hoping for Free Dining, though. With 3 teenagers, that's a DEAL!)

I experienced the exact same thing this week. I had read the e-mail a couple of times and didn't see anything, and then, somehow I noticed it in the bottom right corner. They sure didn't make it noticeable. I wonder what's up with that? Anyway, I hadn't been getting any on my current e-mail address, so about 10 days ago I registered a new email address and priced out a vacation, and a few days after that my pin arrived. Yippee! I'm still hoping for mid summer, but late August and beyond is pretty good.

I went back to my folder and re-checked my emails from DD and the two I recieved for my resort pics do not have the section you have circled in yours, Disney Hates me since they seem to have two types of that email out there

I had saved several resort offers in several accounts, ordered the maps, ordered the DVD and nothing. So yesterday I went in and deleted all those saved offers and about 2 hours later I had an email with the title Explore your Resort Offers with the 40% pin code. So if nothing else is working try that. Good luck!

Thanks for sharing. I just checked my deleted items folder and sure enough I had deleted 3 emails each with a PIN code. Too bad they didn't cover my dates but goes to show I need to be more observant

THANK YOU for posting this! I had no idea the pin code was there-- right in my deleted email! DH and I were able to book AKL with 40% off-- a real dream come true! Thanks again!
