That is so cute!! I love it, Kate.

Ok, I lied. I'm back. But then I'm eating my food. I just had to share this, because I thought it was such a cute idea! Well, apparantly I am still on the Christmas Card list of the aforementioned friend who snubbed me at MGM :rotfl: Well, they are expecting (which I've known for a while), but this was their card this year:

OK ... one other highlight (I may even post an actual trip report one day ....)

OK ... I told you guys I had won a trip for 4 .. and then my neighbor and her family backed out, right? OK, well there are only 3 of us. One of the items I won were four 5 day Magic Your Way with Park Hopper tickets.

Now, I had this extra ticket and what to do with it??????

I had it with me all the time, but no sense giving it to someone in the park -- they already bought their tix. One night, I was headed over to Pop Century (buying Mr Potato Head!). I was following this couple with a little girl and I over heard part of their conversation. They were discussing buying park tickets and how many days etc.

I got up the nerve and jumped in and asked them how long they were planning to buy for. They were contemplating between 4 or 5 days. I told them that I knew this seems totally crazy, but I had a 5 day PH ticket for them. The wife looked at me like I head 4 heads. The guy asked me how much I wanted for it. I said no - I'm giving it to you. He replies - selling it? LOL

We were not getting very far!

I explained that I had won a big prize and I had an extra 5 day PH ticket which HAD to be used before 12/24/2005. I am NOT selling it -- I am giving it to you if you wanted it. They were still skeptical.

I pointed out that all the adult tickets had a biometric scan. *IF* the ticket had been used, you will not get into the park and will be right where you are before meeting me. But, I assured them, no one had used the ticket ... and they were welcome to it at no charge.

I still think they thought I had been sniffing something. :)

I had just left DH back at the hotel room (and of course we had just had yet another argument!) .... but I sure felt SO much better after that. I really *do* hope they ad no problems using it.

I swear, I was floating on air for the rest of the night.

That is so nice and sweet of you. I hope they had a blast and got to do something extra special because of your generosity.

Becy

Tia I'm a bit confused ......

Did you just go to WDW, come home, and re-pack and went to DL?????

Pretty much! We were in WDW from 11/23-12/4. Just before I left, DH's family felt bad that DD and I were gone for Thanksgiving (his choice to stay home) and invited him to CA to be with them. He got out of it by suggesting we all come for CA - not the plans. In the end, his mom ended up paying for our plane tickets in place of Christmas presents since they were more than we could afford, especially at the last minute. His family lives in Orange County (like DL). As usual, we were in town for 4 days and saw his family for about 6 hours on Christmas Day. We spend a lot of time with my best friend and her family, but still had our long (thank you jet lag) mornings free so we ended up doing 2 mornings at DL thanks to Christmas money from my grandma. I bought a 2-day ticket and then upgraded to an AP with blackout dates = cheaper. This trip was completely unplanned and we didn't even get our plane tickets until about 7-10 days before hand as we kept going back and forth on going as DH hates to travel.

Ooh, another curiosity question :goodvibes

What "style" are you all viewing in? As far as colors, etc. I was on the holiday one, but can't remember what I had before that.

I've been using the Happy Holidays version for about a year and a half - about the time I started planning our last trip. It keeps me in the Disney Christmas mood year round - two of my favorite things. Besides, I really like the colors.

I thought it was too cute!

That's how I told Phil that I was pregnant! I was at WDW with my DSis and her baby when I found out for sure. I bought Phil a pair of baby mouse ears and the lady embroidered "Baby (last name)" on it for me. They are so cute and are put away with her first "Terra" ears and her "First Haircut" ears.

Hello all - back from a great day of anniversary stuff! We started with a family outing to see Narnia. We loved it - it was a bit long and I was worried that DS (7) wouldn't sit through the whole thing, but he loved it even more! With the previews it was 2 1/2 hours long. AND we got there early, so he sat in that seat for quite a long time with no complaints!!!

Then we dropped him at a friends house and went for dinner. It was nice to have a quiet dinner without coloring first! And there were linen napkins - what a nice change.

For my Christmas gift this year I got a three piece luggage set from the Disney Store and my upcoming birthday trip - so not all DH pick out bad presents!!! Since he's on vacation this week, we're going out now for another family outing... talk to you later!! Maybe I can go on a posting frenzy and pass 1,000!!

glad you had a nice day and a real nice dinner.

Nice looking family, Marci!

Thanks, Tammi. Your pictures show you have a great family, too!

I see Nicholas got to see the Power Rangers -- my boys would have loved to see the Power Rangers -- but the timing just didn't work out. I saw that you would be there at the same time we were, but between working 12 hour days and getting ready for end of school parties, not to mention Christmas, I was at my limit as to what I could accomplish before we left. If it hadn't been for my DH Randy, we wouldn't have had the shirts for the trip.

Thank you. We did the first PR meet/greet of the day. Everyone else was rushing to ToT/RnRC, which we FPd, and there was virtually no one at the PRs. It was great!
