Okay we made Penut brittle today. well actually DH and FIL I supervised.
My back finally started to feel better this PM so With DH help and my electric mixer I was able to make chocolate chip cookies.

Hey all... not sure if pictures will be up before we leave. The shirts are done, they look great, etc. But I definitely got a migraine this afternoon... we're talking puking and all (sorry, no filtering. too tired). I didn't start packing until 7, and now I have to make sure I have my papers, etc straight. And my head is all foggy from the meds.

This is KILLING me... I'm so OCD about this stuff. It's usually MORE than in order like a week before leaving. I'm sure it will be a great trip, though....

.... just gotta get on that plane.

If I have time I'll at least TAKE pictures, otherwise you'll have to see them later.

If I'm not back on, see you next week!

Sending PD . I found that caffeine tends to help with migraines and the fog if I take the meds with it.

Has the timeline in Beauty and the Beast ever bothered anyone else?

The petal is going to fall from the rose on the Beasts 21st birthday -

but in "Be our Guest" - they sing

for 10 years we've been rusting needing so much more than dusting

Why on earth was the enchantress so concerned with the selfishness of an 11 year old?!?! and how does Beast have a picture of him as an adult prince hanging in the west wing?

Okay - i feel better now that I have voiced my concern

Oh no! that's my all time favourite Disney movie and now I'm always gonna be thinking - who messed up there?

My DS 11 has broken my heart. I am absolutely devastated and not sure what to do.

He wants to either go to Sea World on our next trip or wonders if we could go to Universal. He is also afraid to mention it to me, I might get mad at him.

I had already thought about adding a couple of night in August at Universal. I have heard we need to stay on site to use the front of the line passes. He is afraid that I will be upset if he doesn't want to do all Disney all the time.

This time we will still do some WDW because we have APs that are good through November, but I guess we might have to do some off-site visits also.

Don't be too upset - some of the non-disney parks are fun (no flames please )

I love Sea world especially the Shamu show. This year I decided that universal had lost its sparkle though - we went out of season and it was dead and there was just no atmosphere...they even shut down all the "fast pass" machines as they said it wasn't busy enough although this meant you had to wait for 30-40 mins for a ride later in the day - after TGM at Disney we weren't happy to wait any longer than 10

I wouldn't worry too much about front of line - if you go high season the fastpass system works fine and it you go out of season as long as you go in the morning you'll just walk straight on stuff. Just stay at Disney and then drive/taxi to the other parks for the day.

Thanks for all the well wishes for Alyssa. We are back from the dr. Ear infection. Stopped off at the drug store and got amoxicillan. I also picked up some Zicam swabs, in case the rest of us start coming down with her cold. Has anyone ever used those?

My t-shirts are soaking in the ash solution and I am heading off to dye them. I am more nervous about doing this than I was about ironing. Wish me luck!

Tammi - I am SO behind, but wanted to say that I am glad you got Alyssa to the ped. yesterday. I have never used the Zicam swabs, but the nasal spray works really well. I think I will get some swabs to take this week.

I am sure I will find pictures of your T-shirts as I keep reading. I cannot wait to see them!

She is very blunt - I guess when you are 90 you can say whatever you want!!

My Mom turns 85 on the 18th and I think she has gotten this lack of tact thing down to a science too! DH's Dad just turned 88 this year and he is even worse. We have decided that when you get to that age you must figure there is no need to use any control over your words.
