I tried to give Alyssa some Dimetapp earlier this afternoon and she hates the taste of it so much, that she made herself throw up, crying so much.

I guess I'll try some Benadryl before bedtime, because her nose is just dripping. Poor baby. And as a result, Kevin went to church without us.

I hope all the sick kiddos (and adults, myself included!) feel better soon!

Well hello to all my DDA family!!! We've finished decorating two trees, we've baked a little, visited with friends a little, had a little to drink.... its been a busy week!! But tonight the big guy comes (not Paul!!) and I wanted to also say have a Merry Christmas!!! Thanks for making the rest of the year a lot more fun - here's to a good 2006!!!

Oh I hope there are not a lot of sick kids tomorrow

My niece and BIL are home sick. It just stinks. I do not do my family till tomorrow so I am taking a break now, then have to cards and finish the stockings and then be SANTA!

I am having a hard time the past couple months... not sure why. Someone mentioned maybe hormone changes but I am too young I think... my moods swing by the moment and this season that brings me so much joy, isn't... something doesn't seem right with me and I am fighting it. I pray I can keep my head up and things turn around. I just can't kick "the blues" lately. I just need some prayers and PD if anyone checks in.

here is some prayers and pixie dust. I was real blue last year. and you would think with all that went on in my life this year I would be blue but I think its because I am trying to keep DH and DFIL's spirits up plus having a 2yr old DD that I am not blue this year.

to you. My DM has been having a tough time the last few weeks too. I hope that you both cheer up after the holidays. This is a tough time of year for many people. Surround yourself with family and friends.

We survived the big Family party here. Nice visit with family and a visit from Santa too. The kids were so excited. Actually they still are. We went to my parents this evening and opened gifts. It was very nice this year, no one was in a hurry and the kids got some awesome presents. Waiting for the kids to go to bed. They plan to stay up all night to catch Santa, but I'm hoping that they'll give up at some point. Unfortunately they'll probably outlast me. Thank God for alarm clocks.

Would you mind telling me what fairy cakes are and how do I go about making them? I have an 8 year old who fervently believes in fairies. She wants to have a "fairy birthday," and these sound like they would be perfect!

I was just going to tell you how much we love your card!!!! I might have to print the BIG version for my hutch!!

I went ahead and took Nick to my in-laws tonight - he wasn't quite himself but he perked up a bit later on!

The kids got great presents - as did we - but I am exhausted!!! Nick however got a cat nap on the way home and well - he might just be up for a while!!

Pixel-wise, it's actually a smaller version than the one we sent out for printing. Thank you for the compliment. It was difficult finding just the "right" pictures. Unfortunately, Best Buy Image Lab messed up the borders a little in the final card printing but overall I was happy with the way they came out and the price was better than anywhere else I checked. And enough of the bah humbugs ... It's Christmas. Have a Merry one!!!!! And I say that with a little sick baybers who has a runny nose, a slight fever, and a nasty cough. But she still has more energy than Amy or I. Asleep now, however. And I just beat Amy two out of three games of our new Scene It -- TV Edition game, so I can go to bed happy with house bragging rights.
