Here are a couple of pictures of our new green belt:

Matt now holds white, yellow and orange in jui jitsu as well as white, yellow, orange and now green in ishinru karate. Not bad for 7 years old.

My older 2 sons had their holiday concert tonight. It was a very good concert. Nick is in the band and the hand drumming group as well as his class chorus. Hunter is just in his class chorus, but will be able to join hand drumming next year. We bought them hand drums at Epcot on our last trip. Here is a photo of the kids before the concert.

Okay Jen so what are your plans for today.
Once DD wakes up we will proablly head into town to look for her a new coat at savers or goodwill. I tried her coat on in sept. fit great. well now that we need it it is to short in the arms and the hood want stay on very well.

Then we have my nephews first birthday party today.

Sorry DDAs, no time to play today. I have to address my Christmas cards. My printer is broken again! (do you see a pattern here?) and I can't print my newsletters. I'm going to have to return this printer and get a another new one (it's barely 3 weeks old!)

My computer and camera aren't speaking right now, so I can't download pictures.

I'm going to decorate the tree with DGD. Have to go shopping with DD. Have to wrap. Love to you all. You are my Santa Clause!! I tried to go back to that page and catch up, but failed.


The story about Santa and the grandma... that's how I feel about you. We are making new memories with our new decorations.



Well, gotta go. I also want to try some of the recipes! Gotta go grocery shopping too!

Good morning all. We just got back from the boys bowling league Christmas Party. They set up the machines to count a strike if you got down 7,8,9 or 10 pins with the first ball. Nicholas got 8 strikes in one game which was better than most of the Juniors. Hunter also got several strikes and a turkey (that's what it's called when you get 3 strikes in a row). That was a great way to boost the kids confidence. They also had Santa. The boys knew it was a helper because "she had b**bs". They were all given nice throws with embroidered bowling pins and ball. Very nice. And my Nephew who has always been afraid of Santa to the point of trembling actually set on her lap. He was so proud of himself. Huge accomplishment for the little guy. Have a nice day.

I feel like I post this every day, but a lot of hugs and PD to all the sick kiddos and their mommies. Unfortunately, this time of year is so notorious for sickness, which is so unfair since it's also such a happy time.

Costco Travel is selling hotel/ticket packages to DL. However, they won't even give you a quote over the phone without a Costco membership #. I don't have a membership currently, and don't want to buy one just to get a quote!

Would anyone be willing to call 1.877.849.2730 to see if they have availability for the DL package at the Disneyland Hotel for 2 adults from 1/5-1/8? We would need 3-day Park Hopper Passes. I'll check for you later today. ETA: I just called and was able to check without giving my Costco number. All the Disneyland Resort hotels are full, but he said most of the Good Neighbor Hotels were available for those dates. I've never been to DL so I have NO CLUE what that means!
