Heyy DDAers!

I'm assuming y'all have been behaving! ;) I've been home since Fri night but have been so busy.I haven't gotten a chance to catch up on here yet tonight but I wanted to say hello to all of you. I have missed keeping up with everyone.I hope everybody is well and had a very Merry Christmas.

We went on an unexpected quick trip and spent one day at WDW.Joe was doing some work in Florida so Erich and I drove down to get him.We stayed with our friend who works at WDW.My cousin who couldn't take my Mom in Oct. took her for 2 nights for me,so I didn't have to worry about her. :cool1:

It was unplanned and quick but we had a great time for our day at MGM!
This is where we were last Thur night!

I kept my eyes open for DDAers but didn't spot any. This trip came about so quickly I couldn't even make shirts for us but I ended up bringing the cold weather with me so I wore a jacket most of the day there!

Anyway wanted to give y'all a big holiday :grouphug: I hope I'll have some time later this week to catch up.

Welcome back Baloo, and how fun that you got a quick trip to WDW. Sorry it was cold for you, but cold at WDW is better than cold at home.

Oh, now who HASN'T had a crush on John Stamos at one point or another?

True, my DD watches Full House re-runs and agrees he was *hot*... LOL she actually uses that word now LOL

I ran into Kevin Bacon this summer, he was doing a concert at a local fair, never had a crush on him, but do remember the the "Foot Loose" kinda days.

Welcome home Baloo :goodvibes

Here's some more stupid trivia -- when we were Grand Marshalls for Skunka's 40th birthday, we were in the covered little truck. The man driving the truck turns to me and starts to tell me a story..."When I drove John Stamos in this very truck he was sitting in the exact same seat that you are" :earseek:

I couldn't believe how lucky my butt was that day!!!!!

now if you told me that years ago..i would have been a very jealous little girl haha

Well, him and/or Javy Lopez (Atlanta Braves), John Knight (New Kids on the Block), Jeremy McGrath (motocross), my older cousin's friend Jeff..... the list goes on and on.

I've always had a thing for older men :rotfl:

No normally they are less than 10 feet, we went during hurricane season and when we left our house on Saturday morning to fly down to FL there was no tropical storm activity by the time we got to our hotel on Saturday night there were 2 storms out at sea.

We called DCL on Sunday morning to ask if they knew anything and the person answering the phone said they knew nothing about any tropical storm activity. While waiting in line to check in the CM directing people where to go was handed an updated itinerary because they changed the schedule.

I had an absolute blast and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

I felt so bad for the juggler, he happened to be performing the night of the 30 foot waves, at one point during the show he jumped in the air and ended up being about 4 to 5 feet in the air because the boat dropped.

I was only seasick for a very short time, although everywhere you turned everybody else was seasick, I think that is what did it too me more than the waves. Just the smell and seeing people running to the bathroom.

Becky

Yikes!! *note to self-don't gon in hurricane season ;) *

Baloo, now that you are back, could you please forward this to the Tag Fairies? This is too good to miss.

We've actually had quite a few tag-worthy quotes... as usual

Maybe when he was Blackie on General Hospital, but you're probably too young to remember. ;)

So when is Kevin's birthday and how old will HE be?

Here is the question of the day - if Rick Schroeder were available and asked you to marry him, would you divorce Kevin and do it?

No pressure, we know your husband NEVER reads this thread. :rotfl:

I used him. Well, I subscribed. I really didn't find him useful at all. He's hotly debated on these boards, as I think you either love him or hate him. Some people say (as soon as I say I didn't like him) that I "didn't know how to use the site". I did. I spent plenty of time on it and read lots of information.... but not much I couldn't find around here or from experience.

Either way, whether you love or hate him, you should know that he DOESN'T make actual plans for you. He "teaches" what he knows about the trends that "the rest of the people" follow, and gives you SOME samples. It's really just all the stuff he knows, and you can run with it.

Hope that helps!

oh - I paid like $18-$20 or something.

Ditto on everything! I was told he has tour plans -- I found ONE for Magic Kingdom. His site contained very little infomation which I found to be either new or useful. Plus - and this is the most irritating - his site is like a cornfield maze! Big freaking puzzle!!!!!
