Hold on! Is this what I was asking about? Rees sick? I knew something was up. What happened? Did he get it right when you got back? Actually, when did you get back?

I had something when I was there, headache was really bad and dizzy, but never threw up or anything... missed 2 half days, it happened two different days... I just advil'd and slept and was able to get rid of it. DD just relaxed watching TV and drawing characters on her new artist pad. She needed the rest too anyway, it happend on day 5 and 7. It was weird!

He got sick on our last night with a high fever. Then today started withe the V/D. I've had a horrible cold and fever since the day after we got back. Hope you feel better too!

I am not sure of the circle size - it is on the template - b/c I obviously do them a lot - I have a circle cutter - they cost about $15 - that and the inkjet transparencies are the biggest expense involved

I have the Creative Memories circle cutter template/set. Will that work?

Haha...you're just saying that so I don't ask you to make me more designs!! LOL. Seriously, they are done and I am going to stick with what I have. I think they came out good, too.

Denise, I hope Rees is better soon and that the rest of you stay healthy. Alyssa came down with a post nasal drip cough yesterday. I started her on meds., and if it doesn't improve by Wed. she is going to the dr. I just hope it doesn't turn into something more and that she doesn't pass it on to the rest of us. We have been doing so good, health-wise. I was hoping it would last through our trip. Figures.

Amelia has had the vomiting part Thursday, felt yucky Friday, Diarrhea yesterday, off and on stomach cramps today. There are over half the school gone from her school. One 1st grade class had 16 gone this week (out of 20). We are still hoping that it dosn't go any further in our house.

This is true. And with a doctor-to-be and nurse in the house, I don't think our kids will EVER go to the doctor! Poor things ...

The flip-side though, to being an RN ... you CAN fix lots of things, so long as they don't require prescriptions (and even then........ )

Julia had to go to the hospital in an ambulance from urgent care a couple of years ago - for croup - when we went to see my Doctor - he said - that must have been scary

I said not really b/c I was with her and I knew she was okay and just needed more treatment than the urgent care could give her -

then I said - you know like if you had to take your kids - you would know what was going on and it wouldn't be that scary

his reply: nope - if my kids ever have to go to the hospital it is b/c they are about to die - everything else - I treat at home!!

LOL so true my grandmother calls me her little Dr-nurse. Whenever she is ill she calls me first.

Hey guys--i just wanted to see if you guys had any ideas for this gift ..

My brother is 19 and sooo hard to shop for..We have a $50 limit for our xmas presents this year...we are going on a cruise Jan8, and i was thinking about getting him a ship credit for on the ship...He wants to be able to drink while on ship (18 is legal age then for international waters)...I was thinking about maybe giving him money towards that..or an excursion...
i didtn want to just hand him money.

can you guys think of any creative ways to give him the present? or just fork over the money?
