We are about 30 minutes (good traffice time) east of Beaverton near the Clackamas Town Center. How cool would that be to meet! Either way girlie- I think we're gonna meet between your family being here and my kids being in SLC. I haven't talked to any Dr.'s yet- I'm waiting for Christmas to be over and then I think I'm gonna at least go to some classes and see what this is all about.

Your DH is really cutting it close with the business trip isn't he!?!??! PIXIE DUST to you!

I am just now seeing the pics from the last 2 days. They are AWESOME. I'll upload in a little while.

Let us know when you get them up. I love your pictures.

bear74- I use to home school my kids. They're all grown now, 22,23 & 24, but I try to answer questions for you if you'd like. We homeschooled when we lived in Australia- it was fun!

I haven't finished reading the responses yet, so you might have something, but here's some more.

Thanks!

Didn't find anything good for the Green Army Men :/
Yeah, me too. Only one small that got pixelized quick!

okay i'm curious do any of you DDA's home school. we are considering doing this with our DD.
I would have if DS were more manageable. I tried when he was younger ... and it was SO hard for him to stay focused. Well, later we found out the underlying issues.

Being in school, with me keeping my nose in his business! is the best thing for all of us. He needs help that I can't give him at home.

Oh, and on Disney Photopass, once you buy the photos how long does it take? Is there any way to buy it and then get it on-line, or do i have to wait for the "hard" copy?
Welcome back! Glad you had a great trip! Know how those sensitive ones can be...we took a dear friend and her DD and they had to leave during Philharmagic (loud, dark, surprises) and didn't attempt many others. But you sound like you had a great time! Love your trip reports! :)

As for PhotoPass, I'm just down the road in Tampa. First time I ordered, I got the pics in 2 days. Second time I ordered they took 10 days. So no promises, I guess. They don't let you "download" the pics, but I have used the ctrl-print screen command which does a screen capture. View the picture you want a copy of as large as you can get it on your screen. Hit ctrl-print screen to capture an image of the screen. I then paste it into photo editing software as a new image and crop out everything but the photo. It's not great quality (probably awful for printing) but worked just fine for me to share on the web. :) You can also post a link to your PhotoPass account if you just want to share all of them...

I just found out that DH has to go on a business trip to Vermont on the 23 and 24 of this month. I told him he better be back by Christmas Eve (evening) or I'd be really upset. I just can't stand the thought of him missing our big family plans. Please send PD that the powers that be (Delta airlines) won't strike as they are threatening on Christmas Eve so he can come home.

hope they dont strike and he gets home in time!

Ummm .... you CAN download the PhotoPass pics. At least I could back in February after I last came home. Required a bit of a work around ....

Anyone know how many Power Rangers there are currently?

I have pics of red, yellow, blue, and black.

I somehow remember a pink one and a white one ... maybe they're old??????

Pink and white are still cool. They are in my pics from MGM Parade.

Your pictures are asking for a password now - is this for everyone or did you give everyone a secret code but me?!?!?!?!?

Meeting you would just be the best thing! I was telling my mom this morning how close I am to the people on this board, and she thought it was wonderful. I was afraid she'd think I was wierd or something, but she thinks it's neat to have a place where everyone is bound by a common interest.

Let me know if you decide to come here for the classes. I'd be happy to go with you if you want. You can take one support person. Mine was DH, but if your hubby can't come, I'd be happy to be with you. I was just SO impressed with the doctor's. Their track record is one of the best in the nation!

Yes, DH is cutting it close. He works for a local news station here in Utah, and there's a big celebration in Sharon, Vermont on the 23rd of December. DH is going to cover it. It should be really neat for him, but I want him home to help with the Santa duties.

Count me in for this one too! How far is Cincy from Rochester, NY??

Well, I have been reading for almost ever, and I can never catch up, so I will just jump in and respond anyway. I would love to keep up and be part of the fun. I love reading all this... but I can never keep up, and then I don't post because I feel like I am always behind.

I can tell you that it takes about 8 hours to drive from Rochester to Cinci, unless it is a Friday afternoon.... then it can take about 10. We just did this in August to take DS to Atlanta for school, and it was a big mistake leaving on a Friday afternoon.

Congrats to Amy, PD to Deb and her Dad, Thank you to Lisa and her DH for your sacrifices. I'm sure there are a ton more comments I would like to make, but I am just too slow.

Hope you don't mind my jumping in.

Ellen

My day today was quite interesting. Right before I was supposed to leave work to come home today I ended up calling an ambulance for our co-worker. She was shaking and couldn't talk, she also was pointing at her chest so we thought she might be having a stroke, seizure or something else. She has had seizures in the past. She has been working about 70 hours or more in a week. I told her to go home, since she refused to go to the hospital. I ended up leaving her there by herself. I didn't want to but she kept insisting I go home and didn't want our manager to come and stay with her. She just kept saying she was tired so I wanted her to go home and go to bed but she kept refusing.

So I just got back from Koziar's Christmas Village tonight with my Brownies. We waited for almost 20 minutes for the girls before we left. I even called the ones who weren't there before we left. I talked to one, said wasn't going since it is too cold, I left a message at the other two.

When we get there the one girl and her Dad and sister were waiting for us. Apparently they thought they were late and we left without them so they drove there and met us. We were supposed to meet at 6pm but they left that location before 6pm, because I was there at 6pm.

The other one called and left a message on my cell phone, although I didn't get the message until we were already there. I can't win one was way early, the other one showed up late.

The girls had a great time, even though it was cold. We saw the lights and Santa Claus and had hot chocolate. Most of the girls weren't there before but I feel bad for the girl who was late and missed it.

He promises to be home for the celebration, and I figure if enough pixie dust is thrown our way, it will happen. Why, oh why, do the airlines have to choose THAT day to strike? I'm just hoping that it's only rumor and it won't happen.

Hooray my 500th post. For the second time in less than 24 hours. :cool1: :flower: :Pinkbounc
