GRRR! I know this is so not big compared to all the rest we're talking about here, but I'm going to vent and then I'm going to bed.

DH decides instead of packing, etc for our trip that leaves at 8am tomorrow he's going to clean. Cool, right. Well yeah.

Except he went NUTS doing it, "organized" my scrapbooking area, etc (a spot I don't really CARE if he's in, but never expect him to be) and finds our cruise booking stuff for what was/is going to be a surprise.

Without giving anything away, I kind of hint about it (I mean, seriously.... the stuff is put in a pile neatly, different from where I had it) .... and he "has no idea what I'm talking about". Well, who knows.... now I'm all worried and if he finds out, I'm cancelling it.

Now, to top it off, he's ULTRA grumpy because he is freaking out about packing, etc. Gee, dear.... maybe if you'd have started this, oh, 8 hours ago....?

Ok, I feel better. Like I said... not that big of a deal. But how do I figure out if he really saw anything?!

Goin' to bed now. I really shoudln't worry about this now, should I?!



Tomorrow I'll be at the Mall of America, and a week from today (well, Wednesday at least) I'll be at the Happiest Place on Earth.

Sorry for complaining

Complain all you want - it is still 10 times better than your complaints of last night!!!

I say don't worry about it - even if he saw it - he is clearly smart enough to not say anything!! Besides - aren't you just punishing yourself if he see it adn you cancel it?!?!?

But for Amy and Kate, we may have to make an exception (but I am closing my eyes at the icky parts).

By the way - you can film it without catching the icky parts -- its called "fade to black"

No, we haven't. He could have just not thougth about it, I realize.... but then I just wonder if later on something comes up (like I tell him to keep that time frame open, etc) and he remembers and puts 2 and 2 together.

why don't you tell him you have a different trip planned for that time frame - or plans with us!!!

I am gald things were okay too!! you should get a quiet dishwasher so you don't upset DH during tv

although maybe you just want to go for cheap since it might be a short term dishwasher!!

1 with a 6 month warranty will be just fine with me.
I could care least about the DW.
My baby girl was my concern.
DH knows that means a lot to me.

so when do we hear the test results. congrats on accidentally getting the 16,000 post. Man I am never around when you guys hit the milestones.
Hopefully he will not remember about the cruise brochures. maybe he did not see them were the brochures barried in between other papers.

True. I just think he'd be freaking out about me booking it, even if not outwardly (which is worse!)

I had good reasons, and the money was there. That's what I have to keep telling myself. He wanted to go on a cruise for our honeymoon and then someone in my family gifted us a place somewhere else. And we went to Disney. So pretty much I did all the planning for that, which was necessary anyway b/c he was studying for boards.

So this is supposed to be just what we missed -- an all-inclusive, relaxing vacation after SURVIVING med school, etc I just think he won't realize how nice it really will be, especially before we get back into the grind of not seeing each other except for lunch at the hospital when we're on together.

Ugh. I'm so good at surprising people, but not him. We talk too much.

Tell him that we have a DDA girls only cruise planned.

Right now all he knows is a trip. And that it will include seeing his friends (in South Carolina). Which it will.....

He's been known to miss obvious stuff before . Hopefully this is one of those times.
