Ok, after much craziness on the pc, I ordered tickets for us to see Beauty & the Beast on broadway. I am going to give them to my kids for Christmas (the tickets are for Feb). They will be so excited!!! My almost 10 year old dd has been to the theatre once but this will be the first time for the other two (6 & 5). Hope it can live up to seeing the "real" Belle & Beast at Disney!!!
I am so physched I finally got tickets!

That is awesome - we loved the show!! Just DH and I saw it pre-Julia and it was the traveling show - but IT WAS GREAT - Disney doesn't do anything half-assed!!

We only heard ONE heartbeat yesterday Glynis! :teeth:

You could have joined our mothers of multiples support group. By the way, if you had triplet boys you could name them Michael (Mickey), Donald, and Geoffry (Goofy). There was a 90% chance that my DS would have been triplets, and I thought that would have been a sneaky way of getting my Disney obsession passed along to my kids. I had read it in a book and thought it was clever. Unfortunately, or fortunately, DS was only a singleton.

By the time my twins came along, I was too tired to consider something clever, so we just went with family names. Poor girls. My oldest DD is named Kathryn after Kate from Taming of the Shrew. I think it did something to her attitude to be named after the most famous shrew in literature. She sure likes to throw a teen age attitude around and she's only 8. Go figure!

I don't expect you to pinpoint a date...we can just pretend we were there the same night. :rotfl:

And Kevin, don't get jealous that Kate is going to see Les Mis! :teeth:

We're hoping to see Wicked, but individual tickets aren't on sale until January.

Amy :)

Kevin - tickets haven't gone on sale yet - do you guys want to go with us?

you never know - since it is early maybe it woudl be too hard to distinguish them yet!! Wonder how early Denise heard 3!??!? :rotfl:

smilies working!! :Pinkbounc

We saw 2 babies on the ultrasound before we heard 2 hearbeats. I have high risk pregnancies, so I have ultrasounds at 9 weeks. We had taken our 2 other kids to the ultrasound so they could be part of it, and when we saw 2 babies, I thought DH was going to jump through the roof. I was in shock.

Later, at the next appointment, I heard both heartbeats and that's the only time I ever cried at a doctor's appointment. It was so overwhelming to hear 2 strong heartbeats. I was incredibly lucky, and know that the Lord was watching out for these 2 precious babies. I had so many spiritual experiences during that pregnancy. Incredible!

Just wanted to let you all know - I scheduled an audition for Julia in the American Girl Fashion Show - my big concern is that they want girls who wear a 6X and Julia wears a 5/6 - they said to audition anyway b/c you never know how the AG sizes run

Of course if she is chosen, b/c it is a fundraiser for a foundtion - there is a $120 fee to model but it does include raffle tickets, a party, her ticket for the show (she gets to watch the first part), a photoshoot and a gift -

and of course - then they want you to sell raffle tickets for the show! :rotfl: But it is not a requirement -

so we will see what happens!!

Let me know, maybe we can go!

Poor Amy - here she is trying to adjust to the idea of having 2 kids and we are throwing the possibility of 3 or 4 at her!! :rotfl:

just goes to prove we are a never satisifed sort of group - first we wanted you to be pregnant - but is that enough for us - nope now we want you to have twins or triplets!!!! :rotfl2:

Julia sings -

row row row your boat gently down the stream
merrily merrily merrily merrily once upon a dream

(um do we watch too much Disney?)

We're waiting for Wicked, too! It's a great book, and an AMAZING soundtrack!

I have ALWAYS wanted multiples. I know, I know.... I'm nuts. But when I was younger I always said that I wanted twins, then a family friend "made me" watch their triplets for a summer (nanny-type job where I was around ALLLLL the time) thinking I'd come to my senses. Nope - I couldn't get enough! :rotfl:

Even now that I am older and closer to that point and realizing that having babies isn't all cute and cuddly stuff (ie the stress, time that comes along with it, etc)..... I still think I really want them

Maybe if I keep asking, I'll get my way.

But then no asking for sextuplets or anything just to name them Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto! You're right Kate, I wouldn't put it past this group! :rotfl2:
