I think DH got out $2. That should work. Geez, I'll be broke by the time they lose them all times three. How many baby teeth are there?

twenty-eight.

OK - pony up - its his first tooth!! Give him $5 and leave a note from the tooth fairy that he should spend it in WDW. Make sure the kids realize the $5 is for the FIRST TOOTH ONLY!! Besides, you're going to give him money to spend in Disney, so you may be actually saving money by giving it to him from the TF.

NO!!! I am pretty sure a tooth will pass right through!! haven't you ever seen a kernel corn come out undigested - they are about the same size!!

Now from a purely entertainment value perspective for us - I would love for you to be on poop patrol AGAIN!!

I agree (with both statements).

However, we may lose another member....

The tooth fairly leaves $2 per tooth at home, but at disney she left $5 disney dollars.

Deb

well, he may lose that next one at WDW! That would be pretty cool if Tink brought him some Disney Dollars! BK's is close too. How did my babies get so big?

Ok, ok. Sad part is he didn't have a tooth to leave under the pillow. He was really bummed about that. We keep hoping we'll find it. I'm not losing the next one! BTW, for you experienced moms, did you save their teeth? I'm kind of sad we missed saving the first one.

I agree - for the first - I would go big..

funny tooth fairy story - my niece decided to test my sister and didn't tell her she lost a tooth - it stayed there for 3 nights before she told - so then my niece tells my sister she knows there is no tooth fairy - sister told her that she wouldn't say that again if she ever wanted the tooth fairy to visit again... then my niece said I do believe in Santa though - cause you might leave $2 under my pillow but I know there is NO way you would buy me all that stuff!!! :rotfl:

I hope the tooth fairy is as good to Rees as the tag fairy's been to you!!!

Yeah, I got a new tag during the spree the other day. Although my sister is pretty bummed, because she got mentioned in my old one! :rotfl:

Our school district is having an extended Christmas break because we are moving into a new High School and they need an extra 2 weeks. I was going to take ds20 on his first trip to WDW. He will still be on college break then. We were planning on going Jan 8 - 14. He told me tonight that he can't get off work. BUMMING NOW!

Maybe I can talk Dsis into letting me take her 4 yr. old. The only problem is they are in North Carolina and I'm here in Illinois.

I have kept my kids teeth. Hunter (ds8) pulled his first 2 teeth only to lose them both times. Once on the lawn at my parents house while showing them the tooth and I don't remember where he lost the 2nd one. Both times he left a note for the tooth fairy explaining the situation and got his money. I don't have those teeth to keep. Oh well he's got plenty more to lose.

Deb

The tooth fairy left $5 for all teeth in my house. My daughter cried when she lost her first tooth because she wanted to keep it in. She doesn't like change. I thought I would do $5 for that tooth to ease the pain but she was so excited I could not go down on the next ones. I figure 20 teeth spread out over time is still only $100. They lose 8 pretty quickly and then I think there is a couple of years to recover before they start losing again. I keep all the teeth (pack rat) and my DD is already falling in my footsteps. She wrote the Tooth Fairy a note asking her to leave the teeth.

I am glad the surgery went so well.

All of the DDA sickness has spread as streph throat to my house. Yuck but at least it is treatable quickly.

My mom kept my first tooth and I came across it one day a few years later while I was helping her clean... I was totally grossed out! :rotfl2:

ETA: now, though, I get it. But man, when I was 6 or 7....

Way off thread! Does anybody live near Tucson? My husband has a business trip there in Jan. We are trying to decide if we should go with him.

yes I saved the first few :)

Make sure he knows that the fairy knows sometimes we lose to tooth or swallow it. Happens a lot! Still gets $!

To get DD to give up her binky, we put it under the pillow for the tooth fairy, and the tooth fairy left her a barbie and some $ she was sooooo :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc was a charm of an idea!

Sounds like my DD, no change!!! She hated me getting my hair done! Hated it! No change no change! She is 12 and is still like that! She remembers EVERYTHING I ever did or said, where we were and what we had on :rotfl: BUT now thats all good cuz it makes our mother/daughter trips sooo fun!
She remembers standing in WDW "here" and "doing this" and "the person said this", details! So fun!
