My anniversary is New Year's Eve and DH and I want to take an anniversary trip - in-laws will watch the kids Jan 5-6-7 - now where can I get cheap airfare? any ideas?

Jet Blue just released cheaper fares, but tonight we booked Rochester to Orlando quite cheap on Delta. The fastest way that I did this was to go to the Rochester airport and then to each carrier to see their prices (the Roc airport isn't that big). Does Southwest fly out of your airport? If so, sign up for their DING fares (southwest.com) Your computer will ding when a cheap fare comes up.

Okay, you're all going to laugh. I have been so swamped with work and I am so behind in reading this thread that I just realized that we have a new home!! Oh my gosh! How fabulous!! So exciting! (Okay, that's it, I have to catch up on my reading over Thanksgiving.)

Since I'm not used to our new home, and thus all the new postings, I hope I'm posting these in the right place.

Here are the shirts that Momof2OH designed for me to wear to the NASCAR races at TX Motor Speedway two weekends ago. (Note, DBF and I are big Donald and Daisy fans):

A big THANK YOU to Gina/Momof2OH for making these shirts for me. I wanted something special and girly to wear to the races, not like anything anyone else would have there. And she made just that for me!!

I am so happy their surgery was moved up!!!!! So in 2 days?!? Wow that is awesome!!!! Give BK hugs from Julia - she is very upset that BK has to have surgery - doesn't really care about Davis and Rees - they are icky boys!!! I of course want you to give all 3 hugs!!!!

Tell Julia that I will let BK know in the am. Hope you don't mind all my "fiddling" with your designs. Do you think I should make the ones for the 1st day more Christmasy or leave as is?

And the red shirts, did you want the word trip in there? As celebrating our first trip to WDW? or is trip a given?

And I think Lumpy should be on the front for CP. The characters go nuts when they see themselves.

Hi everyone! I was a big follower on this thread back in August, but I made my t-shirts at the last minute ... we did the iron-ons in the hotel! Yikes!

Anyway, I thought I would share my designs. The first two were from my DD's 6th birthday. I made a special t-shirt using iron-on transfers for both her and one for her cousin.

This is my DD in her Ariel t-shirt.

Here is her cousin with her Belle t-shirt:

I also made some t-shirts with fabric paints. I cut Mickey Stencils from Freezer Wrap, ironed them onto the shirts and used sponges to paint the shirts. My shirt (and my DH's, not pictured) were both blue. The girls' shirts were both pink and I outlined the Mickey Head with rhinestones. The girls loved them! Honestly, the more "home-made" fabric paint shirts got far more attention than the fancier computer transfer shirts.

Yes, Myrtle Beach is North of us by about 3.5 hours. We'll just have to schedule a girls weekend!

Airtran! Watch their website, we got our direct flights from Dayton for under $200 (AFTER taxes, etc)
