I haven't seen the chip costume, but I would think that you could use hula hoops to make the frame and use a lightweight fabric for the "cup". I'm sure that he would also be cute as cogsworth or lumiere (or maybe hubby). How about Nick as the prince. That could be made with light weigt fabrics.

Deb

Cogsworth should be pretty easy to make. Double cardboard body (like those signs people wear), paint the pendulum on the body, paint his face with the clock hands, and put a brown hat on! Have him wear a yellow shirt and brown pants.

For Lumiere: yellow shirt and pants, wear a white hat and put a felt flame on top (and put a glowstick behind it so it actually glows). He could hold flashlight for the hands (so they'd light up).

Oh, but I will! :teeth: (Well, actually Kevin will, since I ignored his tutorial on posting pictures ;) )

Will you be wearing this when you go trick-or-treating, since you're not going to MNSSHP?

I guess I need to go buy a wooden cutting board today, since we only have plastic ones. This t-shirt thread has proven to be expensive (but definitely worth it!).

Amy :)

I will only be wearing it within the confines of my home - so unless you decide to truly start stalking me :rotfl2:

note to self: watch street for car with mickey topper!!

I am :rotfl2: thinking of you sitting around Dising, wearing that costume. You know Julia is going to make you wear it all the time!!!

Perhaps you will don it when we come over for game night (I'm sure Steve will tell me what your favorite "beverage" is...) :rotfl:

You might get alittle more definition to the mickey head if you use a stensil for that part?

Basicly cut out the mickey head from a sheet of posterboard, put it over shirt and spray the head.. then do the rest of the shirt free hand?

Looks good though.

Found another site you can use to see what the designs will look like on the shirts..

Has diffrent colors of shirts so you can see what color would look best for the design you want!

http://www.zazzle.com/design/shirt/default.asp

You don't have to buy anything... Just use it to get an idea on what the shirts will look like before you make them yourself!

EDIT: interesting.. you can then email the shirt design to yourself and save the pic.. only does it in white though.. i tried emailing the shirt in red.. but got this one..

Still cool to see it before i try

Will Zazzle make the shirts? Would they last longer?

I so wish I had someone to have Game Night with! :(

Oh be careful what you wish for!

We had some friends over for a game night a few months back and my DH won every single game that we played! And we're talking about all different games for hours and hours! We were so worried they wouldn't want to hang out with us anymore! :rotfl:

But we all went bowling not too long ago and he didn't win at that! But boy did I have the lowest scores....

Just call me Queen of the Gutterball!

i posted along way back another site.. cafepress.com

They also print your designs on shirts..

I THINK they might be alot better quality then the iron ons and last alot longer (like a normal store bought shirt)

But i'm afraid to try.. lol

I'm going to search the web and see if i can find feedback on someone who bought shirts from them and see what kinda quality they are..

Cause what does it cost for an iron on?

Average for a shirt and transfer?
$3 shirt and $2 transfer sheet?
and how many washes does it last?
