I can't see the site. Blocked!

But on that subject, I am always afraid of personalizing anything with a child's name. It gives info to potential wrong-doers. You could just put "ICE" and your cell phone number. I also put an entry in my cell phone name ICE and have numbers for relatives listed.

Order a size bigger. I wear a med. & ordered large beings I was not sure how they would fit. After I washed & dried them they now fit like a med.
Ok, thanks.

Trying to see if I can post a picture.

This is my design for having breakfast at Chef Mickey's. As you can see, it's rather boring. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm running out of time. We leave in 1 Week!!!!!!!!!!!!

I alway struggle with what id I want to put on my kids and am thinking about getting them these bracelets with their name and my cell phone # - do you all think this is a good ides - or do you have any great solutions?

The advice that I have gotten is to put a card (laminated?), either in their pocket or if they wear a pouch, with their name, your name, your phone numbers, your resort, etc etc. This way no one can get the info simply by looking at them, but if they get lost they can present the card to a CM.

Does it seem to make any difference if the shirts are 50/50 or 100% cotton to do the transfers?

I found a great selection of shirts at Hobby Lobby (child's XS through Adult XXXL), but they are all 50/50. Does the transfer "stick" as well on 50/50?

I found great ID cards for my kids on The Mouse For Less website. They were great to have for all 10 of our kids at Disneyland. Fortunately, we never had to use them, but it was peace of mind to have them. The url is: www.themouseforless.com. There are some really neat things there.

Hope this helps someone :earboy2:

Come to think of it, in VA we can go to the DMV and get a photo ID card (just like a driver's license, but not) for kids. I wonder if other states do that as well. But then it doesn't have parents name, phone numbers, etc.

I like the ones on themouseforless

One of the recent Family Magazines had a great idea to make them yourself with the elastic thread and beads. Can spell out Mom Cell and the number, etc and customize them with colors. I'm probably going to make them each a necklace or bracelet.

Other good idea is to have the tags made (like for pets) with your resort, your cell number, and Parent's name (not child's). Then thread it onto their tennis shoes on the very bottom (ie would have to completely unlace the shoes to take off/put on). I'm definitely doing this one. the tags are $5 each to make in the pet store, WalMart, etc.

Here's an old DIS thread on the subject that I bookmarked. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=784251

Does anyone have a clear image of a large Safari Mickey?

I also looking for one of Mickey holding the Epcot Country Balloons that is large (mine is small and looks awful when you blow it up)

If you have either, could you please post it or PM me?

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where did you keep the ID cards?? I could keep a copy on myself in my backpack but where would the kids keep them in case they were lost??

Kate,
With a sharpee permanent marker, I put "ICE Mom - Cell #" inside my kids sneakers. If they ever needed to they could take their shoe off & show the CM.

My son wore his own waist pouch so I stuck it in there. How about pocket? It's easier with boys, as their shorts/pants always have pockets.

hey design family,
please send prayers and thoughts towards houston. my family has to stay and hunker down for 75 mile per hour winds. traffic is stopped thats why we are staying. i don't like it but only can leave with family. i'll report back after the storm. thanks

I used 50/50 & they came out very well.

My older DS always wears cargo type shorts that have pockets but my younger DS likes the soccer type shorts w/ no pockets. I like the suggestion from mommykds using a perm sharpie and writing in there tennis shoes.
