Oooooh! I really like this one!

Glad to know I'm not the only male on this board. I was starting to question my sexuality.

Thanks. I needed that!

And I was the one who used a light/white transfer on a pink shirt. Don't do that!!!! :earseek:

When I started using the dark transfers for all shirts, the colors were brighter and the shirts came out much better.

Welcome!!! :cheer2:

Glad I could provide some laughter, to bad it's not a paying gig. One of my mistakes last night was ironing on a stainless steel table and not telling the wife. She came to look at the shirt and since I had burned the transfer slightly that also meant the iron had been on the surface for quite some time.

First thing she did was put her hands on the table to look at the shirt. WOW, what a surprise for her. To say the least the shirt didn't look so bad once she got her hands back to normal.

I am very new to PhotoImpact and I'm just trying to learn how to use it, but I made this design for a poster for my daughters wall. She loved it.

re: Disney Mom Bag

Miss Missy: Thanks for the links to pics of Simba's Mom. I'll see if I can fit Simba and his Mom in.

Brendita: I don't mind your taking out the DWW's, though I don't particularly mind having them in there, and though with my program I won't be able to do any more tweaking to that image, I can only work from my original in Word. (Once I post the image alone I can't ungroup the images, etc. again in Word.)
The Jungle Book / Tarzan (?) clip is really cute too.

And THANKS to: Cajun Princess, LovesDumbo, Baloo, Rosiejo, and JnEsWDWMom for the comments too!

My DS has come down with a cold, so I've had a little less time to veg out on the computer. As soon as I get a chance I'll see what I can do tweaking the design to include Simba.

(I'll also see if I can manage to post a smaller image next time. My first attempt at posting was kind of small with white space on 3 sides that I couldn't get rid of, and my second attempt seems too big.
Any pointers?)

Hi everyone~

I am looking for a design for my DS. He will be turning 5 while we're at WDW. He shares his birthday with Walt Disney, December 5th, and I was hoping for something that would include that.

Any suggestions??

DH and I are going to MVMCP, ALONE!!, and eating at the Cali Grill. Do you think it would be ok to wear a tshirt there? I wanted to make the MVMCP design that Kate posted a long time ago.

This is our frist trip with Grandma and Grandpa and I would love to have some type of shirt stating that.. but can't think of anything.

Our group will be G&G (first timers), dh, me, ds10, dd8, ds6 and ds4(turning 5).

We will be doing the FMT and I was going to make a shirt for that too. Did you finally decide on a design for that Denise? I know we're not going to be there the same day... :(

Thanks for any suggestions everyone!! I would love to make the tye dye shirts, but I just don't think I will succeed at it.

Also, can anyone point me to where I can find suggestions on the paper, shirts, etc. boy.. I'm asking alot here huh! :earboy2:

Steffy and I went to the CG and wore a "nice t-shirt". It had the word Disney with characters throughout the name and tan pants. There was a mixture of people dressed up and some with nice dress shorts and shirts. (if he is there ask for Ron--he was the best--took really good care of us) We were there for a total of almost 3 hours. That included the wait and the dinner really spread out so we really enjoyed each delicious course. :cool1:

I have to say it again. Running into Kate was like running into a celebrity. Very cool to get to meet her in person! :goodvibes

STOP! She's going to get a big head! :rotfl2:

We're home and we got lots of compliments on the two shirts Kevin designed. Hopefully he'll get around to posting pictures soon.

And just so you know, Kevin only skimmed through the pages and pages of posts from our absence, but I read every one. :teeth:

Amy :)

Valerie,

This is wonderful! I am sure someone would love this as a t-shirt!

Okay, I need help. I am still thinking about making matchings Mickey tye-dye shirts. But, I really like the idea of a iron-on shirt. I am driving myself crazy trying to think up a catchy saying for a shirt for all of us. I love to dress my girls alike when we go out and I think I have Dh talked into a mickey tye-dye so I though an iron on would be not out of the question. :rotfl: You can pack booze right?

We are going for our 10th anniversary, DH's b-day and early (4 days after Dh's) DD5 to-be b-day with both sets of parents. 9 of us total. 2,4,6,in 30s, in 50s, and in 60s.

I want to make something matching for all of us and I don't want it to read like a book with too much info.... My parents are back together (not remarried) after being divorced for years so my Mom has a different last name as my father. I think 3 family names would look funny but just putting our last name and or my dad's last name would not do it either.

How did everyone come up with the perfect picture? Did you pick or ask everyone going to wear it?

I don't want it to be too kiddy or just anniversary-ish. Grrr...what to do? I am hoping some creative people can brainstorm with me and get me out of my rut. I keep looking at the ordering sites but they just don't really do it for me like the personal shirts everyone here is making.

You could use a design with 4 parks, 3 families, 1 awesome vacation or 3 generations instead of families. You could do a lot that way.

I have a question for some of you experts out there

IS A LIGHT PINK SHIRT considered "colored".

Should I use light or dark transfer sheet??

DARK or the white areas will be pink.

Thanks, Denise - I didn't want to ruin a shirt or a sheet of transfer paper
