Disney Deluxe vs Universal Resorts? Compare

We have stayed at HRH 4 times. Last year we paid $139/night for a pool view during the last week of August. This year we paid $199/night for a pool view during the same week. Not sure why it went up so much as from past experience, it was not crowded at the hotel. Major difference with a Dis Deluxe is that there are no balconies or porches - the windows are fixed. Room size is less than the GF and Poly. Nice hotel though.
