Yes. They do get the same offers as the credit card. All you have to do is open a qualifying checking account with chase, and ask for that particular debit card. We love ours and get compliments every time we use them!! =)

I just signed up for a new checking account with Chase & you get the option to choose a disney debit card. I did it all online too - you can make your first deposit with your current debit card or bank account. Very easy! Now to explain to my husband why we needed a 3rd checking account

So you can sign up on-line and make deposits with your current debit card? Is that correct? Wonder if there a credit check?

Yes you are correct. Yes I think there is a credit check, they asked questions that are on my credit report to verify my identity.

I just tried and they said my zip code was a area that was not available for this service.. bummer No Chase Banks in the area... Wouldn't a Disney gift card work the same way?

If there is a credit check I cant get one then.. I had to cut up my credit cards long ago... Sure hated to cut up that Disney visa..

If anyone is thinking of opening one Google Chase 150 Bonus. Right now they are offering $150 bonus for opening a checking account with them

You just have to put $100 in the account and have $500 direct deposited each month once you have the first 500 direct deposit they will deposit the 150 within 10-15 days. You must keep it open for 6 months.

I'm just making sure, when they announce new Disney Visa rewards discounts that counts for disney visa debit card holders as well???? if so we made a GREAT decision!!!!!!

The Disney debit has been included in Visa card promotions thus far.

It's not an actual 'check your credit rating' check. All they do is verify your identity like any other checking account.

We used ours in May to get 20% off the KTTW tour, and plenty of times to get 10% our purchases.
