Disney Debit Card question

How can I make the most of it? I will be booking my trip to WDW on the card so i will get reward dollars. If I use it as my on-hold card while at WDW will I get 10% off the final bill? Are there any good tips for pushing the rewards to their limit?

When I called to look into it the lady told me the 10% off was basically just good at the World of Disney store at DTD and a few other select stores at WDW (you get 10% off at other places outside of WDW too like Disneyland "select locations"). I was considering it until I realized I'd have to spend $5,000 a year just to break even on the annual fee, I decided against it and to just keep using my Disney Visa credit card.

I signed up when they had a credit of $100 to the checking account and a $25 Disney Reward bonus. If you go to the Disney Rewards website, there is a list of stores that the 10% applies to. My best strategy is to pay everything I can with it so I can get the rewards--this includes everything at WDW. I used it for my room charge, but that's not part of the 10%. I was just happy to be earning the rewards on it!
