Disney deals @ Publix !!!

I know there is a thread about Disney pins/Pin Trading but wanted to let everyone know of the great deals I got today at our Publix grocery store.

They had been doing a promotion with the Disney Princesses and were selling books, backpacks, crafts & princess pins. Well, they have started a different promotion now and they have marked the Disney promotion 50% off!!!!

The books are now about $1.50, the backpacks - $5.00 and the Princess pins are $4.00. They had 3 different choices in the pins. 1.) One pin with all the princesses on it, 2.) a package with 1 Ariel pin & 1 Belle pin, 3.) a package with 1 Cinderella pin & 1 Snow White pin. These pins aren't the super small ones but the nice sized ones that you would buy in Disney World. They have the black Mickey head shaped pinback on them too.

I was really excited to find these b/c my DS5 started pin trading in May and DD2 was little jealous. I bought her a lanyard at Disney on our last day but forgot to buy her a pin for it! Needless to say, she has the whole set from Publix now!!

Glad you posted this! We found the same deals last week at our Publix outside of Birmingham and meant to post about it. The books were $1.70 and they had about 10 different ones to choose from, plus some of the pins. Didn't see any backpacks at our store. Great deal!

Ours had tons of books and now I am a little upset that I didn't buy any since they were sooo cheap. But, the advantage is I live across the street so I can go tomorrow and see if they still have some. Ours had backpacks, the bookbag (for those books), door hangers, a pc game (got it for $5.00) and a few other little things I think.

Couldn't leave my DIS friends in the dark about that great deal! Especially the pins if anyone is in to the pin trading -- AWESOME DEALS!!!
