Each month as our trip approaches, we celebrate "Disney day". We well have some form of Disney related food for dinner and eat off Disney party plates. We dress in Disney related clothing and watch Disney movies and travel videos. It's a great way to keep the excitement alive, but I am running out of ideas. We have done Mickey ravioli and Mickey shaped bread. We have had a breakfast themed meal with Mickey pancakes and eggs. I am going to do an "Unbirthday Party."

Does anyone else have cute ideas? I have 5 more Disney days to plan.

How fun! Here are some ideas:

* How about a pool day -- everyone can dress in bathing suits, have a picnic on a beach towel and have some disney squirters/bubbles/colored bath tablets etc. for the bathtub!

* You could also have a parade and serve popcorn and Mickey pretzels!

* You could also have a Disney craft day and kids could make t-shirts, autograph books, frames, coloring books (free internet printables), journals, world showcase passports, storybooks etc. to use on the trip. There are some great designs and inspiration on the Creative DISign boards for these things too!

Happy planning!

We have done the Disney themed dinners, My kids favorite was when we did Dumbo we simply had Circus food hot dogs pop popcorn and peanuts. We docorated the entertainment center to look like a big top with red and white cray paper.

When we anounced our up coming trip we had put a bunch of ketsup bottles on the tabel (in referance to whispering canyon) our refillable mugs mickey plates and pizza with the pepperoni shaped like hidden mickeys! they though that was fun. When I called them for dinner I yelled out the back door whos got the ketsup wich always gets a lugh out of my DS6.

weve also done spaghettie with lady and the tramp
Cinderellas enchanting Dessert extravaganza! I loved that one
Magic carpet dinner with aladen on a carpet with lots of pillows
Sent an invotation for them to join me and 101 of my furry friends for some puppy chow (a peanut butter snack mix) and a movie.
Have fun planning!:goodvibes

Can you get ahold of the Birnbaums Kids book. There is a ten day countdown in there that we have used and really loved. We also have a large Mickey cookie cutter. Use it with the Pillsbury pizza crust and make Mickey shaped pizzas. Cut Mickey's out of your bread and make any kind of sandwich. Try and find one of the Disney themed games (if you don't already have them) and play them. We have Classic Mickey Monopoly and we love to play that, and we have the princess JR version too. Cut out a bunch of Mickey's and hide them throughout the house and play find the hidden Mickey's. My favorite one (and my kids too) is to have the kids pick what they want to take on the plane for entertainment and snacks (no beverages or liquids though!!!) and then let them pack their carry-on bag. They have fun and it helps me too!! One less thing to pack  !!!!
