Disney Dark?

Hi All

We are fast approaching fever pitch in the Chase household, July 27th we fly (or 20th depending on if we still do the Keys first)

Anyway up, the good lady and I were lying in bed the other morning (don't panic here) and the sun came through the window at approx 5 am waking Jacs up. Being a touch grumpy first thing, she moaned about the sun (I know we could have shut the curtains but we never do) and said "I cant wait till Disney Dark!"

"What you mean?" said I

"The curtains in Port Orleans shut out every scrap of light and you can totally lose track of time while in bed"

Not sure if that last bit was a quote, but you get the picture.

Anyone else know what she means???

Haven't noticed it but will look for it in September. Personally, I love being woken up by the light in the morning (only when in disney world) as it makes me bounce out of bed lie an excited child on Christmas Day! One of my things on my 'to do' list for September is get up at the crack of dawn and walk over to boardwalk (we're staying at the at the yacht club) to get a coffee from the bakery and sit outside drinking it whilst the sun rises. Can't wait for that!

I know what she means.
on our last trip, we had breakfast plans most days except one.
We woke up naturally that day, looked at the clocks and expected it to say about 8am. Imagine our surprise when it was about 11:30am.
The curtains blocked out so much light that it looked dark outside.
Our son is a light sleeper and the light wakes him up early, he has a blind and very expensive blackout curtains but still theres a fair bit of light
I will have to use that phrase next time 'Disney Dark'
