Disney dangled the visual weinee & Mickeystoontown gobbled it up! 10/26

"it chaps my rear" :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao: I do love your sayings my friend. And I agree with you 100%. I hate when people know their native language AND English and then pretend they don't. I had a run in with such a person on the tram at the Studios a couple of years ago...it still "chaps my rear."

We need to get back to see the Mermaid show as it's been a few years. You may have ended up at end of row, but at least you weren't by the ignorant ones.

“Just look at those tentacles on Ursula. I bet she could get a suck on ya that you couldn’t get loose from!” -- only John. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Yes John's comment was funny. I laughed HARDER over the "I’m talking one of those snortin’ loud kinda laughs"

I don't know why but when people laugh like this i laugh right with them.. :lmao: and CAN. NOT. STOP. so i would be right there with you annoying the poor guests trying to watch the show. then the "it chaps my rear" There would have been a clean up aisle

Ignorant guests.. I don't know what it was about 2014 but it brought all of them into Disney this year!! :crazy2:

This is crazy but we have not done LM before! My boys love watching Little Mermaid so I definitely think it is for both genders. Especially my youngest one... He says " I go see Awiel, we go dare tomorrow" LOL.... He wants to go back to Disney so bad! And to think everyone said " He won't remember!!!

Pish POSH!

We are definitely doing this on our next trip.

I'm getting caught up, but couldn't resist reading this installment first because of the title! Just awesome. Thanks for making me laugh! And btw...it kills me to see people litter....especially with a trash can nearby!!!

John cracks me up with his sense of humor. I like the Mermaid show but don't do it every trip due to lines. I agree that the movie ride heads some updates.

He's got a crazy sense of humor for sure! I think that you can FP the show now so that may be an option for you in the future.

Oh Kathy, I have waaaay more sayin's that I could toss out there. T

I can't stand the people who do that. It chaps my rear something fierce!

I would have had to move if they ended up by us.

John's a goofball for sure!

John is too funny! :rotfl2::lmao:

If only I could remember half the stupid stuff he says ya'll would be laughing all the time.

I do that too! I get even tickled at them and I don't even know what they are laughing about.

I think that people have come to expect something for nothing and they don't respect others. Makes me madder than a hornet!

Oh that poor baby of your's. He wants to go back to Disney so bad! We've been taking to Hunter to Disney since he was one. I swear to you that he remembers some of the things that we did when was two. He can give us details that he would only know if he remembered them himself.

I'm getting caught up, but couldn't resist reading this installment first because of the title! Just awesome. Thanks for making me laugh! And btw...it kills me to see people litter....especially with a trash can nearby!!!

Have I said how good it is to have you back April? It really is!

My purse and the bag that I take back and forth to work has all sorts of stuff in it because I refuse to throw trash out and on the ground. There are garbage cans for that!

Thanks, Lisa! That means a lot! You're so funny...I can relate- my purse and car are always full of that stuff until I can dispose of or recycle it too! I am too soft spoken to yell at people for littering, but I always want to! That's the one thing that'll make me snap and yell someday.:lmao:

I bet she could get a suck on ya that you couldn’t get loose from!

Now how am I supposed to respond to that?!

The wait time was short so we joined the others who were in line and immediately wished that we had waited for more people to go ahead of us. Why? We were right beside a super obnoxious family.

When I know good and well that a person understands English and they try to get away with rude behavior, it chaps my rear. :headache:

Oh, that makes me furious! I had a group play the "No speak-a de English" game while butting in front of my kids at a fireworks show. :furious:

When Ursula came in, John leaned over and said “Just look at those tentacles on Ursula. I bet she could get a suck on ya that you couldn’t get loose from!” and I laughed outloud!

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Even though Voyage of the Little Mermaid could be considered a girly show, the guys enjoyed it too which could or couldn’t have been attributed to the fact that a red head was sitting atop a rock in nothing but a tail fin and a shell bra.

No idea what you're talking about. :rolleyes1

I'm pretty sure the guys only like it because of Ariel's shell bra . . . but if that's what gets me to do girly things with all my little guys when they get older, I guess I'll take it! :rotfl:

Littering drives me round the bend! It reminds me of something I did a few years back. We were heading into a Dollar Store (hey who doesn't love a good piece of plastic crap that you'll toss out in a month?? :lmao: ) and watched a couple of teens toss their empty cups & bags from the Subway out of the car window. I walked over and tossed it into the back seat with a whistle. When we came out the car was still sitting there and trash was back on the ground ... So I picked it up again and stood in front of the car. Just stood there wagging my finger & shaking my head and then plunked it on the hood ... meanwhile John was freaking out but in jig-time the girl got out and tossed it into the can RIGHT BESIDE THE CAR. URGH!

This report is just what i need today as i sit glued to the radio & news-feed on-line listening to the information regarding the shootings on our Parliament Hill and inside the buildings. Started with the poor solider killed while standing guard at the War Memorial. :worried:

The last time I cleaned out my purse and tote, I had a gazillion napkins, straw paper, gum wrappers, etc. I just refuse to toss it on the ground.

Now how am I supposed to respond to that?!

:lmao:

Oh, that makes me furious! I had a group play the "No speak-a de English" game while butting in front of my kids at a fireworks show. :furious:

It's all that I could do to keep quiet. I have to talk John down from doing what we call "Going John Mc**** on you!" When he goes John Mc**** on somebody, they don't know what him 'em.

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

The man came come up with some of the craziest things.

No idea what you're talking about. :rolleyes1

I am sure that you don't and you have three boys that are sure to follow in your footsteps. :rotfl:

I'm pretty sure the guys only like it because of Ariel's shell bra . . . but if that's what gets me to do girly things with all my little guys when they get older, I guess I'll take it! :rotfl:

That's what I say! I used to say that Hunter wasn't into the Princess stuff but then he realized how pretty they were and he agreed to do anything that involved them. :rotfl2:

The last time I cleaned out my purse and tote, I had a gazillion napkins, straw paper, gum wrappers, etc. I just refuse to toss it on the ground.

Your purse and mine are the same!!! But all my straw paper is from Dunkin Donuts! I think you guys have better coffee places there. We have a stupid Dunks on every corner, but that's all we have.

There’s no way that a T-Rex could do this! His arms are too short!

Still wasn’t time for our next FP+ attraction so we mosey over to the Animation Building but making a pit stop before going in. I couldn’t help but notice the sea of strollers near the building next door:

And that’s just a small portion of the strollers. I know that there will be a day when I’m pushing grandbabies around in a stroller but, until then, I’m so so so so so so very glad that I don’t have to go diving into the sea looking for the stroller that a castmember has so graciously moved and organized with the others.

We walked into the Animation Building and looked at the exhibits while waiting on the doors to open to the Mushu film portion of the tour:

There are some things at Disney that never get old to me. Things like Mickey’s Philarmagic, Rock ‘n Rollercoaster, Kilimanjaro Safari and the film with Mushu. He’s just so darn adorable and the clip of him saying he’s a Draaaagon, not a lizard makes us laugh every.single.time.

He’s so cute, I could sop him up with a biscuit. For the record, that’s definitely something that’s said here in Louisiana so it ain’t just a Mushu thing.

The drawing class had already started and the next class was already full. We decided not to wait for the next one since it was now time to use our next Fastpass! It seemed like it took forever for the time to come. I took a picture of the hanging baskets while passing by. Usually, they are full of bright colorful flowers but this one was all greenery and it was just as pretty in my opinion:

Our destination was in our sights:

It was finally time to ride Toy Story Mania! I don’t know why I get so excited to ride this because my gaming skills totally suck. My throwing and catching skills are even worse but that’s a whole ‘nother story that my family loves to tell and laugh about.

The time was about 4:25 p.m. and the standby line was 75 minutes! Yikes! Thank you Disney for Fastpass!

Anybody know what book this is? The one with the rat wearing a scarf as an accessory and carrying a purse? I don’t recall that one as a child or reading it to my children.

John wasn’t wasting any time going through the FP line:

Oh those poor folks standing in the 75 minute standby line:

I love all of the props and paintings/murals in the queue:

We went up the stairs, across the little crosswalk

to the next set of steps:

and we were almost there:

They divided us up into a pair and a single with Hunter riding by himself. We got the Rex car

and Hunter said “There’s no way that a T-Rex could do this! His arms are too short!” and proceeded to mimic a dinosaur with really short arms which had us all in stitches. Boy, stop that craziness and get in! We have some targets to hit!

At first, I was trying to get pictures:

but figured that they weren’t going to turn out anyway because the images are in 3D so I concentrated on shootin’. Even still, my score was pretty pitiful:

Hunter a/k/a Mr. I Used To Stay On My X-Box 23 Of The 24 Hours In A Day’s score? The highest in the car for the day.

All of us were in need of some sort of snack or drink or something so we found the nearest snack stand. John got a coffee. Hunter a churro and he and I shared a Sprite. No pictures of the coffee or Sprite but I did think to take a picture of the churro:

Before Hunter chowed down on it:

**Up next: Are we going to a rock concert or doing yard work? I’m dancin’ either way!

I am SO not looking forward to those stroller days. :headache:

The last time we did the drawing class, we missed Mushu. They had a class going in and needed two people and we fit the requirements so we went right in. I'm with you...love Mushu.

Oh Hunter...you silly young man.

Love the photo of the Chillin' with the Villian Churro eating Hunter

ALL THOSE STAIRS! YES!!!!

still a fun ride. to wait that long?? I don't get it! :confused3

You get an "A" for attempting to take pictures!!! :thumbsup2

I have never done a stroller in Disney thank goodness and it will be a very Looooong time before i have ANY grandkids!

I come here for this:

"Makes me madder than a hornet!"

"He’s so cute, I could sop him up with a biscuit."

I think you need a book of quotes!!!! :lmao: :rotfl: I'd buy it.

I get so excited every time I see an update! I just love this report. Your family sounds like so much fun!

I suspect Hunter and I may have a birthday around the same time based off of his pin. I'm June 2nd!

I am so itchy to start booking things like ADRs and such for next summer. My boyfriend actually booked us a surprise trip to Clearwater for the week for NYE so I may gently haggle and get us to head on over to MK for a day if possible. I can't be that close and not swing by! Can't wait for your next update!

Love the updates! Rude people aside, sounds like you had a fun time. John cracks me up, as does Hunter. I just love reading your updates -- they are just fun!

Thanks for showing those stairs. I am not afraid of heights, but those stairs are awfully narrow.

Reminds me of the ones at my kids' elementary school. The PTA storage area was at the top of very narrow open metal stairs. I spent 8 years carrying things up and down those stairs for events. And complained every time. One day the custodian asked me if I heard they were putting in an elevator.

I literally jumped for joy.

Then he told me he was kidding.

:sad2:

Fun updates!

Your story about the obnoxious family also brought back a memory. When Mark and I were returning from our anniversary trip to Puerto Rico, we boarded the plane and a woman was sitting in my window seat. I said "Excuse me, I think you are in my seat" She said "I no speak English" I then pantomimed "That seat. Mine" She just shook her head. A short time later she got up to go to the bathroom. I took her carryon, moved it to the aisle seat and grabbed my window seat. Mark was mad cuz he had to sit next to her for the rest of the flight. Later, she ordered a Sprite, in perfect English.

How lazy do you have to be to litter in Disney? You can barely walk 3 steps without finding a garbage can! (And sometimes they even talk)

Your pictures from Little Mermaid are fabulous!

And John's commentary was great too.

Anybody know what book this is? The one with the rat wearing a scarf as an accessory and carrying a purse? I don’t recall that one as a child or reading it to my children.

Now, I'm no animal expert. Oh, wait, according to my job description, yes I am! I think that's a :squirrel:, not a rat.

How do I know that?

Read it on the opposite page.

:lmao:
