Another "girl dad" is King Fergus, father of Merida in Brave. He's quite sympathetic to Merida's aversion to royal life, including her reluctance to be betrothed.

The woodcarver Geppetto is effectively the father of Pinocchio, who transforms from a puppet into a real boy. Here's an article about the fathers and sons in 2022's Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio.

Congratulations to MsHershey for turning James Rogers Red!

James Rogers is the father of Tiana, from The Princess & the Frog. A hardworking man who loved Tiana and her mother, he dreamed of opening his own restaurant. Sadly, James did not live to see Tiana's Place. He served in World War I and was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross. The new ride, Tiana's Bayou Adventure, expands on James's military service.

Thomas O'Malley, in The Aristocats, takes on the father role for Duchess's kittens Marie, Toulouse, and Berlioz. Look at the fond look on the tough alley cat's face in this clip:

And in 101 Dalmatians, Pongo not only has his own 15 puppies, but he and Perdita up taking care of the other 84 puppies Cruella de Vil stole!
