Disney Customs..what do you do with them after the trip

I bought several custom outfits for dd before our trip. I am trying to decide what to do with them. I dont want to ebay them. That just ends in frustration for me! I dont have the time or energy!! Is there another forum I could list them on?? I also have some Justice 25 cards. I hate to let all this stuff sit and not be used!!!! Craigslist? Has anyone used for this stuff? Me fear is someone finding out who I am and where I live. I know, I am country!

I have bought/sold several items on craigslist - and the paranoid feeling was mutual! The interested buyer just met me at a VERY busy local parking lot - I gave her the merchandise and she gave me the $. All went very smoothly.

I would have to say ebay would be the way to go. I think you'll get more $$ on ebay than you would on craigslist.

What are the rules about mentioning them here. It seems like here would be a great place to sell Disney. Maybe if you can't outright post a for sale post you might be able to post pictures on photobucket or something similar then put a link to the pictures in your signature here.

I've heard too many negative things about Craigslist. I'd avoid it. Try one of those "Sold it on ebay" retail stores if you have one nearby. If not, you could try selling the outfits at a consignment store or donate them and write it off on your taxes. Or give them to a family member or friend or neighbor who has a child that would fit into the outfits.

Again, ITA with pp - ebay really is your best bet, IMO. If you don't want to do it yourself, use a seller service to sell your stuff for you. you ship your items to them, they take pictures, do the listings, etc. and then take a cut off the top - usually 20-30%.

I find that with consignment stores -a lot of them just see the clothes as "homemade" and price them as such - you could be out big bucks.

I know there are a few selling forums around - gymbofriends.com has a selling forum for 1.99/month - you'd probably do better on a place like than than on craigslist.

Thanks everyone!! I contacted the lady who made 2 of the custom outfits and she has agreed to list for me on ebay. She sells her customs on ebay. She gave me a set fee plus I will pay the ebay fees and give her 30% of what I make. It sounds fair to me since I dont have to do the work. These are very nice, wear several ways kind of outfits and while I will not make a lot, I know they will go to someone who will cherish them. DD wore them for her 9th birthday.
