Disney Customer Service comes through again!

I ordered a Park sweatshirt from disneystore.com I was so bummed when the wrong size came. :sad1:I called to see if I could get the right size, but they were sold out. Bummer...so they refunded my card and said UPS would pick up the sweatshirt they had sent.

About 3 minutes later my phone rang...it was the CM who I had just spoken with letting me know she was emailing me a e-gift card for $10 good for the disneystore.com! I was so pleasantly surprised!!! :thumbsup2

I love Disney my kid is the kind that orders an ice cream cone get it and turns to leave and the whole thing falls on the ground Only Disney instantly said don't worry sweety here is another Ice cream just the way you wanted it! her tears dryed up and was all smiled We said thanks thanks very much! And that was the Day the Magic started for us!

I just want to clarify that my son never used the pen. It was defective and we didn't check it out close enough when we bought it, we didn't break it! If we were still there we could have returned to the store. I would never have emailed Disney if I thought we were at fault for the broken pen! That's why I sent a scan of the receipt and pictures so they could see it was defective and we had just bought it the day before. I was just expecting a hassle over a stupid $6.95 pen and I was so pleased that there was no question on their part.

Oh don't worry about comments like that one. Some people have to be negative. My DD at the time was 5. She had a tummy virus. Without TMI, lets just say that she needed new clothes for the ride home. She wasn't feeling well, so we took her to the first aid place in the MK. Now it wasn't their fault that she had a tummy bug and needed new clothes, but they gave my DH a voucher for a whole new outfit so she could ride home in clean clothes. They told us to just get what we wanted for her.

Love Disney.

I have one too!!!

Just before Christmas this year, I ordered 8 monogrammed blankets online for my 8 little cousins. I spent quite along time making sure that everyone had just the "right" character and that all names were absolutely spelled correctly.

When the package arrived, the pink Tangled blanket that was supposed to be for Addi, had Will's name on it! :scared1:

Actually, somehow, the order/packing slip had both names listed for that blanket. It was kind of strange.

So, I called. Now, I DID have to wait on hold for about 40 minutes but my conversation with the CM didn't last more than 5! They sent me a new corrected blanket. When I asked about returning the wrong one, she said I could either take the stitching out and use it or just donate it to a charity for Christmas - which is what we did!

I really can't count how many times I have been to WDW or purchased from the Disney Store. Like everyone else - that's what makes me keep giving them my money!

When we were at Tokyo Disneyland, my son dropped a souvenir mug (again with the souvenir mugs!) and before I had even bent all the way to the ground to pick it up, a CM was helping me, telling me not to worry about the spill, and that he'd bring a new cup to us once we sat down. He asked what was in the cup, and true to his word he brought us a fresh cup of apple juice as soon as we'd found a table.

What makes this memory all the more amazing to me is that I don't speak Japanese, and he didn't seem to speak much English.

My DD lost a pin at DTD once and we walked around looking for it everywhere...we went back into the same register to buy it again not more than 15 minutes later and the CM recognized us and asked what happened - DD told her and she just put the pin in the bag for us with no charge! I couldn't believe they could do that.

On another trip she lost a pin and we were searching for it when a CM saw us and asked what we were looking for - we found the pin but the stem on the back was missing so he gave us a card so we could go pick out a new pin.

After that for a few years she was not allowed to wear her lanyard :rotfl: But she was always running up to look at CMs lanyards so she could trade. It is amazing how many CMs would offer her a pin to start her collection - I would quickly explain we already had them and offer a pin we had in her trading bag. Sometimes they would take them but a lot of times they would give her the pin anyway!

About 10 years we decided to go and check out the Wilderness Lodge for a short time(we were staying at one of the All Star Resorts). We bought a mug for dmil and an ornament for someone else. We checked to make sure that it could be delivered to our room before we left DW. We were told no problem. When it didn't arrive on time, we contacted the front desk. We were asked to bring our receipt down. It seemed that the parcel had been lost. With our receipt, they placed another order for us. This one was received the next day before we left DW. A few weeks after we arrived home, we received a package in the mail. It was the original mug and ornament.

I immediately called and was told to enjoy them. There was no need to return them to the store.

Gotta love Disney!

More Disney Magic....
My DS was married June 2010 and since they were going to WDW for their honeymoon, I ordered the Bride Ears & Groom Top Hat for them from Disney Shopping Online. When they arrived, they had sent the new Groom Ears with tails instead. I called customer service and explained the situation...she not only had the Groom Top hat here in 2 days, but let us keep the other hat, which my grandson, the ring bearer, wore for the rehearsal. :thumbsup2

I Love the Disney Magic!
