I have noted disABILITIES posts with parents stating they had their child with ASD/DD moved from one Club to another because that was a more appropriate fit as far as the child's interests and abilities. I have also read of parents staying with the child in the Club to facilitate the child. I have been on the DCL boards recently as we are thinking about trying a cruise and one of our kids has ASD. It appears DCL is now STRICTLY enforcing age requirements for each Club AND the policy to not allow adults entry.
I would hate for someone to get onboard ship before discovering this if either would affect your family. I believe these rules were always there, but perhaps weren't enforced for families with special needs? Now folks are reporting strict enforcement. So please look into this if you believe it could impact your family.
Please note I am not looking for debate here...I just know from personal research that this may catch some folks unaware.
