Have been pricing up for next year, having never done one before how much should I be looking at?, I have a couple of quotes for a 4 night cruise & a 7 night ;) I know it depends on which category I book, my quotes are for cat 8. Also when is the best time to go?

Prices vary drastically.
Last one we did was 7 night for 3 for us cost $2,200 in October
Looking for this August 4 night almost $3,000:scared1:

We loved October still great weather.

What dates are you considering? what prices you been quoted?

For a 7 night cruise 4th Oct 2008 $4260 :confused3 ,that's for 4 of us, and a 4 night for next may was $2000.

Karen How old are your children?
Just checked 2 ad and 2 ch Oct 08 Cruise Price: $ 3,969.92
Are you wanting to take their insurance or transport? we never do.

Prices do vary drastically depending on the time of year. If I were you, I would be looking to book as far in advance as possible, as there are early booking discounts that are quite significant. Also avoid US holiday periods - the Americans aren't as generous as the UK with leave entitlement, and so tend to make make much more of Bank Holidays than we do.

We went last November on a 3 night which was about $2000 for 3 of us in a Category 5. We have booked for next November (2008) and are paying about $4500 for 3 of us + baby in a Cat 6, on a 7 night Eastern cruise. We booked through Dreams Unlimited which was over $500 cheaper than booking with DCL directly, and we get $200 room credit.

Let us know if you have any more questions!

My children will be 9, oh actually she'll be 10 the beginning of oct!, and 8. No we don't want their insurance, not sure about transport?, we normally hire a car :confused3

The price I quoted was direct of Disney's website, it would be another $276 to add transport, We have always parked at port for week, worked out similar price for weeks rental and parking.
Like Kristieuk says DU are usually cheaper and you should get an onboard credit, I have never used them but many do.
I think we are going to book RCCL again this August. Disney has got too expensive in August IMHO.

We have paid $2000 for a CAT 5 in November for the 4 night cruise. We booked with dreams and saved approx $300. I have not taken the insurance or the transfers. I have just bought the passporter cruise guide from Amazon and I totally recommend it!:)

Have you looked at "vaccations to go" or kingdom magic. They were cheaper than DU when I looked fro this year, however we decided against it and I wish we hadn't:sick: Will definatley be going 2009 though.

dont forget to factor in the tips as usa prices dont include so you will get envolopes for them.If booked througth uk ta these tips are sometimes included

Wow i cant believe how much DCL has gone up!!
We went 2 yrs ago end Nov early Dec, 7 nights, booked cat 11 & upgraded at the port to a cat 8 (much cheaper to upgrade when you get there)
£1600 for 2 adults 1 child with VH so tips included (tips can be VERY expensive as you tip per person in the cabin)
Can recommend that time of year to go, as after Thanksgiving the xmas decorations were up, singing 'oh christmas tree' in the lobby with Mickey was one of my fav memories :) & CC was decorated too, & its proberbly one of the cheapest times to go - or at least it was!!!
