Can I purchase 2 placeholder credits for myself when on the ship or will they limit me to only 1?

Also, in a different scenario, would I be able to buy a placeholder for myself and then a 2nd placeholder for an extended family member not currently on the ship?

Much appreciated!!!

From what I understand, every guest on the ship can book up to two placeholders. Names can be added and removed, BUT the guest making the placeholder needs to be on the final reservation.

You can get a placeholder for yourself AND another one for an extended family not currently on the ship with you. I've done this multiple times. You can change the names except the lead name on the reservation. So for the room for your extended family, make sure that the lead name you'll put it under will for sure go. What I always do is I put the other room under my husband's name and we just mix up the names between 2 rooms when we check in. The other room gets CC benefits too even if they're first time cruisers.

And just to clarify - because I’m not positive you weren’t actually asking this...

The placeholders must be for the same cruise to receive benefits. You could not book 2 placeholders and use them for 2 different cruises.

All correct info. I checked with Disney and I can purchase 2 placeholder credits but they both must be used on the same sailing (so 2 cabins for myself or 1 cabin for myself plus 1 cabin for friends/family members to be used on the same sailing). You can book the 2nd cabin for someone not currently on the ship with you.

You cannot get 2 placeholders for yourself to use for 2 separate sailing dates.
