We are going on a vacation in 2006 at Disney, but we don't know wheather a cruise would be better or whether a resort stay would be better. We can't do the 3 or 4 night stay and 3 or 4 night cruise though. :sad2: This would take time out of our vacation to get on and of the ship ext. Can someone please help?

Who is going? Ages? Have you been to WDW before? Have you cruised before? What is your budget like? What do you want from a vacation?

Me , and my parents are going but I get to plan it. We have been to WDW but never on a Disney Cruise. There will be two adults and a pre teen. Budget is not a problem. And we just want to have fun.

My girls are 11 & 9, have done Disney and Disney Cruises several times each. Both would vote hands down for the cruise as their favorite vacation.
Why not do one or two nights at Disney and then a short cruise if budget is of no concern. That way you get a taste of both!

GO ON THE CRUISE!!!!!!!!!!! :sunny:

We have been on the Disney Magic twice and it is by far the greatest vacation ever!!!! Absolutely do the 7day as the 3/4 days are just not long enough. This August we are going down to WDW and staying at the Poly because my DS (5) has never been to the parks but my 2 DDs(8 and 12) are pouting :guilty: that they HAVE to go to WDW and they aren't going on the cruise AGAIN!!!! Both cruises we brought my mother and she said it was the most fantastic vacation she has ever had and loved the times with the kids and the wonderful adult only activities too!!!!!

We will be back on the Magic again. My now teenage DD says there is no other cruiseline she would rather go on. They do a great job with the older kids too, not just the 3-7 year olds!!!

Have fun!!!

We couldn't decide which to do first with our two DD 8 and DS 10 :confused3 ~ so we picked BOTH!!!! :cool1:
We're spending four days at Disney world :mickeybar and then we set sail for our 7 day Eastern Disney Cruise.... :boat: :boat:
Either way...... you can't go wrong ;)

The only problem with doing as half/half stay is we can only go for 7 days tops. So we would have one day to book in one day to book out and to get on the ship and 1 day to book out so that leaves 4 days. So it really has to be one or the other.

I think I'd pick cruise then...... :confused3
you could toss a coin??? :rotfl2:

Yeah I guess. The more I think about it the more I think we might enjoy the resort as we did kast time and there will always be other times to take the cruise. I think we are gonna go with the resort. Thatks to everyone for helpin me out! :D

Do the cruise (exception being if you are going in late August or Sep..hurricane season). I have done both, and loved both...but the cruise is not to be missed. Relaxing, elegant, indulgent service, no worries, excellent food/dining experience, top rate entertainment, ambiance, romantic, adventurous, breathtaking, sensory delight.....I wish words could describe it better. You feel like you have been on relaxing vacation when you get back (vice an exhausted...albeit happy...marathon runner after doing the World).

Tip...If you do pick the cruise...make sure to get all your extra goodies planned, like spa ressies, excursions, etc. well in advance.

I didn't quite understand..please forgive me.
4 night DCL and 3 nights Land. That equals to 7 nights. Or 2 nights Land, then on the 7th day, you go home. I would do it that way.
