I was looking at future shows on the Travel Channel and noticed that they will be featuring the Disney Cruise Line on April 15th at 8:00pm and 11:00 pm and April 19th at 3:00 pm. Since its cruise week, they also having shows on other cruise ships such as Star Princess, Adventurer of the Seas, Voyager, etc.

They're also having shows in the next few weeks on the Yacht & Beach Club, Wilderness Lodge, and Grand Floridian.

I'm glad they invented the VCR!

I'm glad we finally got The Travel Channel on our Cablevision cable subscription. I watched the GF and AKL program again today.
Now if only Cablevision would stop fighting with YES, and give us the Yankees without another additional charge, my Yankee friends would be happy.
Me, I would rather watch the Travel Channel.

I'll make a note of it!! We watched one of the Travel Channel shows about cruise ships and they had one of the Disney ships on it but it was only about 15 minutes long. I hope this is a full hour just on the DCL!! :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Thanks OP :D I logged onto the website and am having them email me a reminder to watch this program.

The shows in the next few weeks on the WL, BC, etc. are on the show Great Hotels, on at 12 noon,12:30, and 5:00pm. The host is Samantha Brown and she's great. She makes you want to drop every thing you're doing, hop a plane and stay at that hotel. And she does a great job promoting the Disney hotels. If you go to the travel channel web site and click on her name, the show schedual will be posted so you can plan your viewing.

I love the shows on the Travel Channel. I signed up on the web site as well to give me a reminder.

We were on the Feb. 27 Wonder when the travel channel was filming, I think that's the one that will be on April 15.

Thanks for letting us all know about the upcoming program. We were on the 20th October 2002 cruise, and they were filming then. The film crew said it should be shown around April 2003. By the way, if they show a lobster red brit trying unsuccesfully to put his snorkel fins on... thats me...:-)

Video is set.

Every time DH and I watch Samantha Brown on TTC, we get soooo jealous. Doesn't she have the BEST JOB in the world???? lol!

It is so good to see that this looks like it is going to be a NEW show on the DCL! yippee!!

Thanks for the info!

My husband and I love Samantha Brown! We often comment that she would be a blast to hang out with on vacation. And, yes, she does have the best job in the world!! :D

:p

I'm volunteering to Samanthas travel buddy, she always seems to stay in large suits or rooms. Plenty of room for 1 more!

bumping this up so I don't forget to tune in.

We finally got TTC here. This whole week will be a must see for me.

Forgive my ignorance...You listed the times it would show. Are they in Eastern Time?

I just went to TCC site and they ARE listed as Eastern Standard Time. :-)

Angie

If you have any questions about when its playing in your area - you can always check tvguide.com. It amazes me what you can find online! Anyway, the times do appear to be Eastern, since there is a 3 hour difference between the time the Travel Channel shows and when they appear here!

FYI: this is what the TV guide says about the Disney Cruise Line program:

Disney Cruise Line
60 min.
An examination of the cruise line includes the ship's galley, engine control room and provisioning areas, its Broadway-style theatre and the palatial Walt Disney Suite. (VCR Plus+ 4128370)

Rating: TV-G
Category: Documentary
Release Year: 2003

Hope I can get my VCR to work since I'll be on vacation next week (Maui here I come!). Of course, since its The Travel Channel, it will be on a few more times this year!
