Disney Cruise Line on Points?? (Update)

With the help of Nick @ VB+OKW, I decided to rent points and pay for my cruise on DCL instead of cruising on points.

I was shocked and amazed at how smoothly it has gone. In under 3 hours I had rented out 214 points at $10/pnt. I am paying around $1800 for the cruise (through Dreams Unlimited - a DIS sponsor) and am saving 72 points (as the same cabin would have cost 286 points through Member Services.

So...I end up $340 and 72 points ahead of the game!

So...to any DVC-DISers on the 2/13 Wonder 4-night cruise....ALL ABOARD!!!

For my money, this proves 2 things:
- DVC is truly a flexible program - just know how to use it; and

- DIS is an invaluable resource - the rental boards are great!
