Disney Cruise for Honeymoon

Who has done this? What was it like? I have been on the cruise before but never for the honeymoon! I am just curiuos, not that I expect it, but if you got an upgraded cabin.

I was wondering the same thing. We are planning on taking a Disney Cruise honeymoon but not booking the package, so we are not really expecting anything additional.

To have our intimate-add on, we booked a land/sea vacation and added two more days before our trip. The cruise was absolutely amazing. While we didn't add the REAS (I think that's what it's called) we received quite a few perks. Our room had buttons on the bed when we arrived that said "it's our honeymoon," it was quite cute and there was one for me and DH. Also, at dinner the first night they brought us out a cake where the white chocolate said "it's our honeymoon," or something to that effect. I'd highly recommend the cruise, it's your honeymoon and well you'll do more "things" and have the energy for it on a cruise compared to 4 days at the parks. We'd get back from the parks and collapse, haha

We did the Eastern 7-day Itinerary for our honeymoon and I cannot recommend it highly enough for Disney fans. We never found ourselves amongst lots of children which is weird when you're on a ship full of them LOL. We were put on a table with another couple from Buffalo, it was their first cruise and we had such fun with them.

We really lazed around - I would go to the spa and Paul would nap - then we'd lay by the pool together - we went on one of the excursions at St Marteen, shopped for jewellry in St Thomas and chilled out at the adult beach on Castaway Cay oh and boy did we eat, then ate some more and just in case there was still room we'd eat some more

It was perfect so much so that we booked a 7-day Western for our first anniversary and that was just as enjoyable
