Disney cruise for Christmas!

just curious if anyone got a disney cruise for Christmas

Our daughter and son in law gave us our first grandchild 11 weeks ago. We thought about giving them a disney cruise at Christmas time. We couldn't wait til Christmas and gave the gift when they brought that precious little girl home. So next September we're going on a cruise to celebrate little quincy's first birthday!!

I did! So, we are planning a cruise in 2018 with the kids and grandkids, but my husband surprised me today because he also booked the week before for just the two of us. So a 7 day b2b with another 7 day. it will be our 40th anniversary present. Yahoo, bucket list item. Have done several 3-4 b2b, but never 7 days.

We gave our kids a disney cruise for Christmas.....and it leaves in 4 days! All the secrets and planning has been worth it. They were so shocked and happy!

I did! My husband shocked the heck out of me with this surprise! This is so not like him. I'm always the one who plans and books our vacations. I can't believe he booked this without my knowledge. We're not traveling until summer, but are doing a 7 night western on the Fantasy. June can't get here soon enough. Super excited!

I haven't ever gotten one, but I've given every one I've taken as a gift to the other person attending, either my son or bf. It's the rare kind of gift that I get to enjoy, too, of course. Congratulations on your grandchild!

We gave ourselves a back to back cruise for February instead of gifts of items we didn't need. So we booked it last week. Only 6 weeks away....so the diet starts tomorrow. We did the same thing last Christmas. Loved the B2B.... 2 stops at castaway cay!

We surprised our 11yo son with a 4nt cruise on the Dream for Xmas that is setting sail on 1/16/17. It almost became a surprise gift for me too but the nice lady at DCL "strongly encouraged" my husband not to take that route when he was booking the trip once he told her that I worked. She ultimately told him that he really really needed to tell me about it beforehand so I could make sure I got off work for the cruise since there would only be a couple of weeks between Xmas and when we were set to leave and we might run into an issue with me not being able to get off. Sweet gesture by my husband but I'm eternally grateful to the woman who put her foot down with him!
