Are we dividing up delivery days, or just doing it on a "when ever you want" basis? As it is such a short cruise, I thought we would just do it when we get time?

I agree with as we get time. I was also planning on giving the kids FE gifts more then once.

There are no plans to divide or assign delivery times. Everyone should just deliver when they want to.

on board the ship they ususally have some trivia sessions. I love Disney trivia, although i am not good at it.

Here is a Trivia question for the day.
I will post the answer tomorrow.

Now no cheating by using search engine, just your brains because thats all you will have on the ship.

My question is, What is her name?

I understand that everyone wants to put the presents when you have time and not be divided by days. but I wonder if 10 people put gifts the same day does not believe that it will fit in the FE.

If we are 17 families six families PER DAY would not be bad but you have to confirm if they want to do so.

DOES EACH DAY DELIVERY that corresponds ESTABLISHED WITHIN HOURS 6AM - 10PM

I have a list in excel with all the information if they want it divided into days and I write to my mail and I will send them. Please give your opinion.

Hi and thank you for adding me to the FE exchange. I think i have a lot of catching up to do in reading all these threads. First time Disney cruise so i feel lost. Cant wait to meet you guys. Welcome! I am keeping the FE list for this cruise. I need your first names, the ages of any children, and your cabin number to put you on list. Please send this info right away because cutoff day is today (we'll be happy to have you though since you just found us).

FE Primer
Every stateroom has a fish hanging on the wall outside the door. This is part decoration and part message center. The fish is there for Disney to place important communications to you such as excursion tickets and notes from the Cruise staff. It is like a mailbox for your room.

On the DISboards discussion forums, it is very popular to participate in a Fish Extender exchange. This entails having a fish extender hanging off the fish outside your room. A fish extender can be made of cloth, plastic or vinyl. It can be very creative or very simple. If you don't care to create your own Fish Extender, you will find many auctions on EBay or Etsy where one can be customized for you.

All the people in the exchange buy little items and place them in each other's fish extenders. It is great fun to come back and check the items you have received.

We have participated our last two DCL cruises and really enjoyed it. It is like Christmas everytime you return to your room as you are looking to see if someone has left you a gift. Our DS also enjoys making the deliveries since we have to find rooms all over the ship.

Look at pages 3 & 4 of this board for previous posts form others. You can also do a quick web search for 'fish extender' and find multiple articles explaining this.

Looks great!!! I'm not crafty either, but you did much better that I could! I'll admit I am really starting to stress about our FE, I know this is all fun but I can't come up with anything to try to construct this contraption... Ahhhhhh 2 more weeks!!!!!

Most people go back to their room a few times during the day to change clothes or to meet up and empty their FE. So ours has never been stuffed full.
Also if a FE is full most people will wait and go back later to deliver their gifts.

We all go to our rooms to dress for dinner and i always change back right after dinner, so evening is a great time to deliver because someone will be checking their FE for sure.

Also if the FE is full the room host is usually around and he will put it in the room if you ask him or her which will save you a trip back.

I will not be delivering my gifts until towards the end of the cruise.

I do understand your reasoning. If we were a larger group then I would be in agreement of doing it differently than we are doing. But with such a small group there shouldnt be a problem. Just my opinion.

We just needed names and ages of kids because some people personalize their gifts or do different gifts for kids and adults.

There are a few who dont have room numbers yet.
They should be listed online today or tomorrow for GTY rooms, so check your online reservation page this evening.

Please dont stress. If you cant get a FE made I have seen many people go to the card department and buy a Disney themed small shopping bag to hang up. Some buy stickers of letters and put their room number or names on the bag too others buy a plain white bag and decorate it with Disney stockers or photos they have. That is quick and simple and will work just fine if you get too frustrated.

Do you have the no sew FE directions? I mad eone from this, I didnt do exactly but close enough and it wokred. I am not crafty either and I cant cut a straight line. My DH had to cut some of the material for me. LOL!!
