Does anyone have a reference for an excellent Disney Cruise budget/planner that they use for thier trips? I haven't sailed since 2011 so it would be helpful to me.

I have never heard of a DCL budget/planner. Like someone to help you save money for a cruise? A financial planner? There is so little actual planning involved with a DCL cruise, not sure you need anyone for that.

Once you book your cruise, with your deposit, usually about 10% down, you can make any type of payments you like until your due in full date when the final payment is due. You can choose to pay monthly, or however you like up to that point.

No, I mean like a physical booklet, paper planner. I think Etsy might have some and I was just wondering if anyone could recommend one. Sorry for the confusion.

That sounds like a good idea.
I just make a spreadsheet, and color in the cells that are cash in one color, credit card in another color, and what I can pay with Disney gift cards another color.
Then I have another color for what's paid.
Can keep running tallies.
I put our flight info and reservation info in cells off to the side.
And usually go back later and see if my guesstimates for onboard treats were close to my 'budget.'

If you just want to keep up with important dates. The DCL app will do that. It will tell you when you have to pay off the cruise, when your activity booking window opens, when you can do your online check in.

You CAN just pay the price for the cruise and be happy.

Additional things that add to the cost would be alcoholic drinks, fancy coffee, popcorn at the movies, WiFi, gels to, Palo the fancy restaurant, the spa, and excursions/tours. You can pre pay suggested gratuities.

Then there is the cost of getting there and possibly DCL transportation to the port.

But I have actually not bought anything extra and had a great time. Meals are included, free soft serve ice cream, and all the entertainment (and great people watching) is included. You can walk around any port stops on your own, etc.

There ARE a couple books about cruising with Disney on Amazon if you prefer books over Google.
